The unit's front panels are specially treated to protect the gold plating from steam and hot water, while its die-cast coffee spout and stainless-steel grid finished in titanium GoldTone provide a striking look and long-lasting durability. The espresso machine is designed with high-gloss black operating buttons with GoldTone imprints and behind its pullout tray is a laser-engraved limited-edition number from 001 to 555.

Combining dramatic aesthetics with advanced technology, the fully automatic machine grinds, tamps, brews, and steams with the touch of a few icons on the control panel. Its commercial-grade, solid-steel conical burr grinder provides six fineness settings, and the unit can be tailored to specific tastes for coffee strength, water amount, temperature, and steam quantity. The unit features a 15-bar pump and a single 1450-watt ThermoBlock heating unit, as well as a pre-brew system that moistens and conditions grounds for maximum aroma and flavor.
