I love this coffee maker! No more cleaning pots, bitter burnt coffee, coffee filters, daily cleaning, grinding coffee beans etc... This coffee maker does it all! The Impressa F8 makes the best coffee I ever tasted. It is almost too good to be true. All you have to do is select your cup size and press a button...it is that easy. We have three people in our house who drink coffee in the morning now everyone gets a fresh cup of coffee whenever they want. No more drinking the burnt bitter left over coffee that has been sitting in the pot for who knows how long. Cleaning is as easy as pressng a button all you need to do is empty the used bean tray every so often (the machine tells you when). If you drink coffee every day...this is well worth the cost! I wish I had one of these sooner!

why is it that only people who have some problem write reviews? This is a great coffemaker. It is my second one and even at this price is a great machine. Coffee waste is eliminated when you make it a cup or two at a time. I love the 2 cup function which is perfect for my husband and I in the morning. The froth express makes it idiot proof to get great stemed or frother coffee. It is attractive and very functional too, allowing you to alter any cup size or strength witha twist of the button. I couldnt be happier with it. Just wish water filters were a bit cheaper.

Truly, I was expecting some trouble and expense with a machine of this complexity. No trouble, none at all. The machine just works and works and works. We have gone through well over 5000 cups of coffee and 5 years of totally reliable performance. We are religious about cleaning it and giving it good quality (RO) water. Other than that, it just sits there and makes us a great cup of coffee every single time we push the button. One thing that I would change if I were to purchase again, and that is to buy the unit that does NOT have the automatic timer/clock. I bought this version (at a hefty premium) so that it could be "ready" in the morning - - but it warms up in only 2 minutes, so the auto-startup is just not necessary for me. By the time I've got some cream in my cup, the machine is raring to go. Highly recommended for all coffee lovers everywhere.

We had a horrible experience dealing with Jura Capresso customer service.

After buying a $1300 Jura Capresspo F8 machine and using for 3 years, we had to fix it once (paid additional $230), a bit less than year later we started suffering water leaks now. So we claled in to ask for a repair with no charges, and after long conversation essentially my wife was told by MR Rodriguez (lead CS @JC) in a very disrespectful manner that if "we did not like it, we'd better buy another machine/brand" or pay the @230 for another fix.

So, now we're following MR. Rodriguez (from Jura Capresso CS) advice and we'll probably buy a Gaggia Brera (or any other brand) cause we do not want to deal with Jura's horrible customer service ever again.

Love the flavor of the coffee. Works great, when it's working. HOWEVER, my machine has broke twice in six years. $230.00 to repair everytime it breaks!!!!! You'd think when you spend $1300. on a coffee machine it would last longer than that! And the customer services rep's are quite rude.
