I can't believe people actually think it's reasonable to pay $46.95 for 25 cleaning tablets! You can buy a jar of 200 Urnex Cafiza Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets for $20.75; they will work just as well as the vastly overpriced Jura Capresso tablets. Save your money and don't buy this product.

My home has hard water and the need to keep appliances clean that circulate water has been a challenge especially with my beloved coffee machine. I have been using dargol for some time now in keeping my Capresso coffee maker clean but finding Dargol has been a challenge as the only brick & mortar store front that actually had it in my area was Crate and Barrel and it wasn't on their shelves.
The cleaning tablets in comparison to the dargol appears to perform a more thorough job as I found that the tablets (once fully dissolved) lifted a lot more debris and particles from the coffee maker. The only issues which I had with the product was the lack of instructions, which despite the simplicity of dropping in the water basin, I wasn't sure whether the cleaning process should begin before or after the tablet had dissolved in the water or how much water should be used for that matter. Common sense took over and I decided to wait which was a good thing but all the same it would have been comforting to have a little guidance on the matter. The other issue albeit minor was with the on-line merchant which I purchased it from charged $10 for shipping and the packaging for this tiny product was excessive to say the least. Overall I have a product now that even if used on a monthly basis will last for over two years which despite the cost when weighed across that time frame makes it a wise and very useful investment for those who truly prize their coffee makers.

This 25 pack of cleaning tabs is much cheaper per tablet than the 6 pack from Jura Capresso. But I do think these little soap tablets are very expensive. Still, I don't want to risk using some other brand on my Jura Capresso for risk of damaging it and possibly voiding its warranty.

The expiration date on this item was too near to allow usage of 25 tablets. I had to return.

Just drop a tablet into the "Coffee Powder" tube and the tablets clean the oily residue from the places I can't get to in the machine.
Tablets are expensive so this large container is the way to go.

The tablets are expensive and so are the Clearyl filters. I change the filter when prompted and clean the machine with the tablet when prompted. My F9 has not failed in three years of continuous daily use. You can find numerous reviews of Jura super automatics that fail, mine has not. Is it the filters and tablets? Maybe. The tablets are $1.60 each and you need to use one every 200 cups of coffee. So that's 8/10 of one penny per cup. Probably money well spent.

The real thing. Seems to work, but how would you really know anyway? At least the maching is working happily.

Buying the descaling tablets for our Capresso/Jura coffee maker in bulk, instead of in the blister pack of 6 helped reduce cost per tablet substantially as well as the cost of fethching them every 6-8 months. No Hassle if you think you will need the tablets for 3 or so years.
