We owned the earlier version of this model and saw no reason to change, until we needed a new machine for our office.
This Jura-Capresso fully automatic is a dream for consistent, perfectly-brewed coffee and espresso drinks. It is trouble free and enables us to customize drinks for several coffee and tea lovers in our place of business. Getting hot water for tea or instant soup or drink mixes is fast and easy.
Frothing milk for coffee drinks is convenient and reliable. The cost of this machine is amortized in less than 6 months of not having to buy expensive coffee drinks in coffee bars. If you want the best, it is here.

I owned the earlier version of this model the S8 and saw no reason to change, until the machine broke after 13 months of household use. I returned the S8 for store credit and purchased the updated S9 Avantegarde. It's now been another 14 months and the S9 has now broken. I sent it to Jura-Capresso for repair and it was returned after 10 days still broken. I love the coffee this machine produces but it seems to come at a high cost if it only lasts 13-14 months. I'm still working with Jura-Capresso to get the machine fixed but it's now been 6 weeks and I still do not have a working machine. The retailer I'm working with states super-automatic espresso machines on average only last about 24 months!
