3.0 out of 5 stars Not quick and easy for hotel use but cute for those with extra time., July 19, 2009

This review is from: Jurassic Towel Origami (Paperback)
In this book the author, Alison Jenkins, created some interesting prehistoric towel origami creations. I think most young boys would get a real kick out of these creations and you'd be their hero forever. Towel origami is used on many cruise ships, resort hotels, etc.

I WOULDN'T suggest any of these creations for the hotel or cruise markets. Many of the creations need other things like clothespins, hairbands, kitchen sponges, various colors of towels, etc. to make them. One even requires rubber gloves! It's not the normal quick and easy towel origami you'd do at the drop of a hat. Housekeeping could never make these creations and get their work done.

If you are willing to put the time and energy into making these creations, the instructions and photos are nice and easy to follow. For the towel origami fan this book is probably worth buying to have on your shelf.

For those in housekeeping I'd suggest the Cruise Ship Towel Folding DVDs sold online by FoldingMagic or some of the other books on towel origami like Alison's first book on towel origami The Lost Art of Towel Origami.
