I'm a grown man but I enjoy watching kids shows old and new. I was a huge fan of Boy Meets World when I was a kid, I'm now really enjoying Girl Meets World. Seeing kids shows that inspire kids to do good things is always nice. This is a great show and you can really tell that these three girls are friends who really care about each other. Great morals.

The only suggestion I have to make the show better is to post a recipe of something cooked during the episode at the end of each episode. I think it would be fun to follow in the footsteps of the characters when it comes to cooking.

UPDATE: Just finished watching the entire first season. My wife and I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Even for a "kids" show it kept us guessing. It gave us a lot of laughs and neither of us guessed at the surprise twice at the end. We really hope it's brought back for a second season.

My two older daughters (ages 7 and 5 1/2) immediately fell in love with this show, and so did I!

<Warning: the next paragraph is a rant!> I am so sick of children's TV shows featuring snotty, over sexualized, wealthy, scantily clad, sarcastic and/or rude children who have minimal (if any) adult supervision. A great example: Jessie on the Disney channel. These children talk back, show off about their wealth, act obnoxiously, and can anyone explain why Emma is wearing cocktail dresses to a playground in Central Park?! And while we're telling our children to be nice to each other and to strangers, these kids yell at each other, call each other stupid. make fun of each other and insult intelligence, all with a laugh track to tell our kids, "Hey, that's funny stuff!" It's exactly how I *don't* want my kids to behave! <end rant>

And then - POOF - amazon delivers a new show featuring 3 best friends who treat each other so nicely. They are looking out for each other, and the main character even (GASP!) apologizes to her younger brother. The girls aren't sporting short skirts and high heels, and they genuinely care about each other. WHOA! And it's really fun to watch, too!

Bravo! Kudos to amazon for this show. I hope we see more "Just Add Magic" and more shows like it!

I'm a grown woman and I'll watch it. It would be a great mother/daughter show.
I like any show with a witch and I love cooking shows. I like to watch the Jr. Chef shows, and this show reminded me a bit of the kids in that. This one has both cooking and magic. The girls are so cute, and the values are great. I love that the cooking isn't dumbed down- there's lots of good, quality vocabulary in this show, and I appreciated that so much. I think a lot of times adults make the mistake of talking down to kids, when in fact kids are like sponges with new words as long as there is some context. There was definitely context included here, so I think this could be very educational as well as entertaining.
I love that they show smart, compassionate girls and that the friendship among the girls is so strong.
I really want to see episode 2- I want to know what's going on with grandma and the other older women shown in this pilot. I think the only thing they can do to mess this show up is to dumb it down too much. The story line was fairly simple but I liked that. As an adult, I find simple stories with good values very soothing, which is why I watch them.

Update 12/17/2015 A commenter informed me that this show's entire first season will be airing on Jan. 15, 2015, and I have confirmed that with the news and IMDB. I can't wait to watch it!

Update 1/16/2015 I ended up binge-watching the entire season. It just got better and better. The mystery came on very strong, and kept me guessing until the very end. The show also deeply weaves the challenges and rewards of deep, lasting friendships through all the episodes. I love this show! I can't wait until Season 2.

WOW, this is very good-something a whole family can enjoy watching together. The writing, directing and acting are very very well done. Amazon, please make this into a series with at least 2 seasons of 10-13 episodes. I will be looking forward to seeing more episodes.

Delightful and original! this was something I can definitely see taking off and doing really well. The cast has great chemistry and the story line is very fun and easy to get into. I really loved the ending and how it makes you want to know what's going on. I enjoyed that tiny bit of darkness, it weighs out the show really well.

Talk about recipes? This is a "Recipe for Success!" It has all the right ingredients: Intriguing story line, captivating set design, exceptional characters, and the best part .. a lesson in morals! Our society needs and should DEMAND more programs such as this one. Many of us grew up watching shows such as Leave it to Beaver, The Brady Bunch, and if you're really old.. Lassie. These shows were entertaining and provided families with thought provoking situations to discuss with one another. "Just Add Magic," is the NEW perfect family show!

The characters are memorable and believable, especially Kelly! She behaves like a typical ten year old, but possesses wisdom and kindness beyond her years. Her interaction between the others builds understanding and depth for the viewers. As she struggles to figure out the mystery, we are drawn into the story plot and her character. We can only hope that young girls watching the show will seek to mirror her thoughts and actions.

It would be a recipe for disaster to NOT continue with this delightful pilot and a HUGE disappointment! Please ... "GET BAKING!"
