Good Basic Storage Cookbook,
By A Customer
This review is from: Just Add Water How to Use Dehydrated Food and TVP (Paperback)
Great book! Good for cooking with home food storage items. Recipes, hints and facts. It's old (1972) but still good info. I got my copy to read through the library system and I want to my own copy now!

Pretty Good,

This review is from: Just Add Water How to Use Dehydrated Food and TVP (Paperback)
I thought this was a fairly good book. There is a little info about emergency preparedness, and then she gets into the differences between wet food storage (canned items) and dehydrated & freeze dried items. Then she proceeds to give a lot of recipes for dehydrated foods. It's basic, but good information to have. I purchased the book because she includes TVP recipes & easy recipes to make from food storage. These are the types of recipes one would want in an emergent type situation. My overall review is: Don't expect miracles or fancy frills from this book. It's old and contains good basic info, but that's about it. No frills. Period.
