I can not say enough praise about this product...we have had this blanket for almost 2 years now - my kid LOVES it, it has been through washes numerous times - and it is still beautiful, soft, warm with no wear or damage.....I have been ordering these for all of my girlfriends having babies and have heard nothing but praises from everybody!

This is the perfect winter comforter for a TODDLER, but probably not for a baby, as indicated by the title of the comforter's listing.
It's nicely filled-- not too light, not too heavy. My daughter will be sleeping in it tonight, and I am anxious to check on her to see whether it's still 'on' her.
Also, Ikea duvets covers fit perfectly!

not much down in this blanket - pretty cheaply made for the price. I should have bought the Pacific Coast Feather crib blanket instead

With weather outside averaging -20 and reaching -50 at times, this is perfect! You can make 2 covers with 1 queen size top sheet. (I used a softed used one of ours.)

This is a wonderful comforter for a toddler. My son was so excited to get a big boy blanket on his new big boy bed that he forgot about his blankie and I put it away and he never asked for it again. This is so soft and comfortable and totaly washable (with a toddler boy I have washed it many times now and comes out like new every time). It does drop alot of down as most down comforters do. It was solved by putiing a cover over it like you do with a large down comforter. I don't know if you can get them this size, I didn't look. I am handy with a sewing machine so I bought a flat sheet and folded it and sewed the two sides and put buttons at the opening and had a comforter cover. I have been useing this for 3+ monthes and do love it.

I was looking for a down comforter for my baby and finally found this and I think I am satisfied. The quality looks good compared to the price.
However I wished it is square quilted instead of striped quilt.

I love this comforter, I received it as a gift for my son off of his wishlist and it is by far the best thing I've used during the winter for him For whatever reason it seems the kids rooms are always so cold in the night, even when the heat is on, every other room gets smoldering but his room stays cold. I love knowing this comforter is keeping him warm on top of his fleece swaddle. He is comfy, cozy without feeling a big heavy blanket or quilt on top of him.


I tie the ends so if he manages to kick at it, it iwll simply kick off underneath him as oppose to on top of him.

Best gift for the winter hands down!

Ordered this down blanket for my baby, even though it is a bit big for him now, it fits perfectly to his crib and also fits the baby's IKEA duvets (they sell set duvet and pillow case for the crib). The comforter is VERY COMFORTING, lightweight and cozy, yet very warm. I would recommend it for every baby who needs to stay warm to sleep more peacefully on a cold night. When my son feels too warm under this blanket, he pushes it away with his legs! For those potential buyers who are afraid of bad reviews for this comforter (choking issue), I would recommend to buy a baby video monitor to know your baby's whereabouts, because "chocking issue" is not anyhow related to this great product, it is related to parental carelessness.

I bought this when my older son was just 7 months old in 2007 and its still going! Ive washed AND dried it numerous times and its still just like new. Nick (older son) still insists on sleeping with it so I am buying another one for the new baby just in time for winter. Its very light and warm. My only issue is trying to find duvet covers other than boring old white. I bought the white ones for this latest purchase but Nicks grandma had mad a beautiful flannel cover for him and he wont part with it - its so cosy!

Bought this for fall/winter for a 3 month old, at the time. She's been sleeping under it every night. It keeps her comfy and warm. Right away I saw an increase in her sleeping time. It's much warmer than any blanket. It's a bit difficult to get covers for this item but boppy makes a few that fit. We are very happy with this product.
