About the Author

I also grew up with a strange, strong desire to be close to people who weren't feeling well, who were sick, or sad. Just to touch them by rubbing their back or arm or holding their hand was another part of my early years. I had no idea why. Most people were keeping far away from someone that was ill in case they were contagious. But I just wanted to be near them. If I ever thought about it at all which I don't think I often did I assumed I just felt sorry for them or was worried and wanted to offer comfort.

I can not wait to read her next book!

Unlike Lisa, I have had to question so much about what I have always felt to be true--where as Lisa--because of her amazing family ties--was able to Just Believe.

There are three types of books that I read. Perhaps you are the same. There is the book that I get convinced to read that is too dry or too hard for me to read and I put it down never to read again. There are the books that I read a little at a time and over time I manage to read. Then there are the "Page turners" that I read in one sitting. This book was a page turner.

As a person who has an interest in healing and is a born again Christian that has interests in spiritual things, I found myself fascinated and captivated by this book. I learned that I was a light bearer and an empath and I certainly need to have some chakras cleaned out.

The author was engaging and it was like she was having a coffee with you. She took what , to some people what might be complicated and in conversational english brought out the meanings of thing simply and easily. I found that I did not want the book to end.

I found her talk about angels amazing. As a person who has met angels and conversed with them, I found her testimony resonating with truth. Half way through the book, Jesus asked me to do a prophecy for her, and after I sent the prophecy to her, I found parts in her book that seemed to confirm that the prophecy would have touched her.

Lisa is a healer. She is sincere, honest and genuine. She has a great heart and is a very gifted communicator. I look forward to her future books. If you check out her website and you have had experience with angels you might even get your encounter published in her next book.

Check this book out. You won't regret it

With Love

I so enjoyed reading this book, I so related to this written word. It is always nice to have confirmation from someone else that the things you believe are real to someone else. Just Read It, Just Believe. I am anxious for the next book she will write.

Although I always said I believed in angels, I must admit I danced around the subject rather than sank my teeth into any concrete understanding of them. As a child I had things happen to me I couldn't explain away, and always suspected that perhaps I had been aided by some super powerful being--but because unlike Lisa Tarves--no one in my family believed in such things. Our home was infused with fear, doubt, guilt and squashed any ideas about anything out of the normal--everyday--wake up--eat--go to school--eat again--then go to bed kind of mentality.

I was so grateful to read that Lisa came from an open minded family that encouraged her to Just Believe. Her candid and frank approach to her understandings of all those things non-physical is enlightening, uplifting--and oh so encouraging.

Many of the things I read were validating--like the goose bumps one feels when calling on the spiritual realm for guidance or help--and when the 'help' arrives.

Much of her life story runs parallel to my own. Unlike Lisa, I have had to question so much about what I have always felt to be true--where as Lisa--because of her amazing family ties--was able to Just Believe.

Just so you know--the universe is a better place because Lisa Tarves is in it--whether you ever read her book--or experience her work or not.

Namaste...

A very well written and approachable introduction to the power of thought and angel / spirit guide communication. This work is rich with autobiographical details which richly illustrate core concepts. A little masterpiece.

When I first picked up this book, I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought it was going to be a typical 'my life as a psychic / intuitive' book, but there's so much more to it than that.

Just Believe is engaging and conversational. Lisa's writing style felt as if I was talking to a close friend over coffee. Not only was she sharing stories about her life, but she gave new and interesting insight into the world of a lightworker.

Tarves begins by talking about the normalities of her life. She's married, has three children, listens to classic rock & country music, and enjoys cold beer, wine & an occasional shot of tequila once in a while. My kind of girl!

She then begins to talk about her work as an intuitive healer and psychic. She mentions how she's come to learn her own lessons during this lifetime and how she's made her own mistakes even when she knew that she was making a wrong choice. She talks about the many lives she has touched and in turn, the lives that have touched her.

Lisa also goes on to explain the origin and meaning of the word "Lightworker," and also explains what chakras are, what energy is and so forth.

This book is perfect for those who are beginning their path as a lightworker, and those who have been working with the spirit world will find much familiarity and comfort in Lisa's words.

I'm happy to have this little book in my library, and I sincerely believe that you will enjoy it too.

Disclaimer: I met Lisa about a year ago online and have since developed a close friendship with her. When I launched the Writestream Radio Network back in March, I knew she would be the perfect choice to host a holistic healing/paranormal/spiritual broadcast. And my instincts were right -- Just Believe with Lisa Tarves has been a huge success!

Yet as with other author friends, I read her book with a critical eye. And my conclusion is that everyone seeking inspiration, motivation, and assurance about the eternity of life and the loving nature of God and the angels must buy a copy of Just Believe to read and refer to daily!
Part autobiography and part Spirituality 101, Lisa first introduces herself to her readers, sharing in down-to-earth, "real" language her experience as a young child with a remarkable sense of the unseen world and the ability to see and communicate telepathically with angels. Having established herself as a legitimate source of information on the topic, Lisa then delves into various aspects of spirituality with humor and authenticity. Chapters include the aptly named, What the Heck is a Chakra?, Energy Vampires (I immediately recognized several people I know who fulfill one or more of these descriptions), and Those Pesky Little Etheric Cords.

There's even a rundown on the hierarchy of angels (Archangels and Guardian Angels), a clarification of spirit guides and definitions various psychic abilities. Throughout the book, Lisa's personality shines through as she moves from topic to topic in her own engaging style.

Each chapter begins with a relevant quote. Every single one Lisa selected seemed to have particular relevance for me -- whether about a current or past situation or person.
