Would you like a boost to your spirits? Ever since I learned to read, I've had a love affair with books. Through books I can enjoy grand adventures, explore new places, and delve into people's thoughts. By the time I was in second grade, I loved writing stories, silly ones full of giants in imaginary worlds. I thank my excellent teachers who encouraged creativity and provided the drive to become a writer. Memories of sleeping under my grandmother's hand-made quilt and the love of writing form a foundation of many stories in my books. My goal is to write stories to touch the reader's hearts.

A friend loaned me her copy of this book when my daughter became engaged ... and I loved it so much, I hand copied some of the highlights to keep handy for future review! Thankfully, I found amazon.com and purchased my own copy ... and purchased two more to pass on to friends who are becoming mother-in-laws. Truly a must read and reference book as our mothering roles change with our children.

This book has information that does not go out of date. Very practical advice on how to get along with your adult child's spouse. I purchased it 3x to give as gifts, and also have my own copy.

This is the best book to be found on being the best mother-in-law that you can be. It's a classic that I recommend to everyone I can. I have a copy on my shelf as well as one to lend.
