Songs like Nik Kershaw's "Wouldn't it Be Good" and The Special AKA's "Nelson Mandela" make this easily the best volume in this 15 volume series. Nik Kershaw fans beware: An edited version of "Wouldn't it Be Good" appears here.

best singular '80s compilation out there, September 1, 1999

While this compilation manages to have unappealing tracks ("Girls", "Free Nelson Mandela"), there are some really nice songs on here. "Hold Me Now" and "Cruel Summer" are really great songs to commute to, and "The Stand" is a powerful and anthemic delight. "Wouldn't It Be Good" is delectable and "Whisper to a Scream" is a rare gem. This is a must buy for anyone wanting an '80s compilation that doesn't contain the usual hackneyed "hitsapalooza". I even liked "Hero Takes a Fall" and I never knew I could like a Bangles song!

Worth twice the asking price just for Nik Kershaw's Wouldn't It Be Good!! Rest of the tracks are "vintage" 80s' also. The whole Just Can't Get Enough series is a must for 80s' music fans. Absolutely no clunkers!!!

Got a good mix of old favorites (Relax, Cruel Summer) and some not-so-easy-to-find gems like Whisper To A Scream. I love this cd!

this volume, just like every other in the series is long on promise and short on proof. there are better compilation sets out there and they're not hard to find. the obscure references to some groups is so obscure that they had to search hard and wide to fill the empty spots where good songs should have gone. it blows my mind to think that an 80's compilation would be an undertaking of monumental failure, but Just Can't Get Enough of the 80's Volumes 1 through 15 does just that. there are a lot of good songs but far too many that should never make a compilation of any kind.
