5.0 out of 5 stars A True Classic of 60's Rock- West Coast Style
If you don't like the way records were mixed to stereo in the 60's (drums and bass right speaker, guitars and singing left and center) then you won't like this. I recommend you buy the other version- The Weeds aka The Lollipop Shoppe- instead. It's been remastered without such a wide stereo soundfield and definitely sounds more modern. 3.0 out of 5 stars WHERE IS THE REVIEW?
I USUALLY DONT WRITE A REVIEW UNTIL I OWN THE CD AND LISTEN TO IT TWICE...SOME OF MY PALS HAVE MENTIONED THIS BAND [HI, BUD WEBSTER] AND ARE CURIOUS, AND SINCE NOBODY HAS REVIEWED IT. I WILL SAY A FEW THINGS BASED ON THE 30-SECOND SAMPLES AND ONE SONG I HAVE ON A COMP...I NEVER HAD THE LP SO I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS BECAUSE OF WORD ON THE NET...SO HERE GOES. THE SINGER IN...

Plus the bonus tracks are just as awesome as the original record. But because I love this record so much I HAD to get both. This one has two fantastic bonus songs that are not available on The Weeds cd. These songs are the closest to the group "Love" I have ever heard (I love Love). The thing is Revola stuck to the original mixes, which I think was a great idea. It gives you a better idea of what the original record sounded like, which I somehow missed back in the day. My advice is to first get The Weeds cd. I bet you're gonna want this one too (if you're a fan of 60's psych that is). Don't think twice, it's alright!

This Rev-ola disc sounds better than the original UNI LP and I believe it was sourced from a Master tape or perhaps a safety. Highly reccommended.

I WILL SAY A FEW THINGS BASED ON THE 30-SECOND SAMPLES AND ONE SONG I HAVE ON A COMP...I NEVER HAD THE LP SO I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS BECAUSE OF WORD ON THE NET...SO HERE GOES. THE SINGER IN THIS BAND APPEARS TO BE A FAN OF ARTHUR LEE [FROM LOVE] AND SOUNDS A BIT LIKE HIM BUT WITHOUT THE POWER. THE SOUND SEEMS VERY TINNY AND THIN, VERY GARAGE, AND ONLY A FEW OF THE SONGS WERE APPEALING. I SUSPECT THIS BAND COULD SOUND A LOT BETTER WITH A TOUCH OF PRODUCTION, BUT THIS IS THE POOREST SOUND IVE HEARD ON THIS LABEL...AGAIN,JUST SAMPLES, BUT I THINK I WILL PASS......BRITMAN 46
