5.0 out of 5 stars Laugh so hard, you'll cry
Some of you may remember Ralphie from NBC's "Last Comic Standing". If so, you probably already know how funny he is. Ralpie is not for everybody(Like the last reviewer who was easily offended). Nothing is sacred from Kobe to the Kennedys to Gays and Minorities. But if you like off-color stand-up than give Ralphie a try.

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid! Avoid!
I was looking for something new to listen to so I picked this up, not at all familiar with this new comedian. Boy am I disappointed. The audience is obviously having a good time, but I wasn't. I don't want to sound like a grouch for giving a comedy CD a low grade, but this was annoying and offensive. I'm a big fan of George Carlin and Margaret Cho so I am into off-color...

5.0 out of 5 stars Ralphie's Just Correct, September 8, 2004

I picked up Ralphie's cd after hearing him on the radio here in Phoenix. He and the morning guys were just tearing it up.
This cd has everyone I know in stitches. We're all into vulgar and rather offensive comedy. For example: Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White, Bobcat Goldthwait & Dennis Leary. If you're familiar with those guys, you get the idea. He bashes everyone, including the big men like himself. Mean spirited? Whatever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Comedic Genius!, February 8, 2005
This review is from: Just Correct (Audio CD)
I love listening to comedians. Often, they make my day at work seems much shorter than 8 hours. I can honestly say that Ralphie is the best and funniest comedian I have ever heard.
Yes, he's vulgar and offensive, but he only says what everyone has thought at one time or another.
You MUST buy this album, you will not be disappointed!

Blood for oil? Oh yeah!! Ralphie wants cheap oil and he's prepared to push the button. Get out of his way.

Very good comedy because he acts like he really means it, and it really burns him up (see: passion). Vulgar, to be sure. That parental advisory is real. But the ones it'll really offend are the politically misguided actress-wanna-bes trying to stop the war because there should be no 'blood for oil'!

4.0 out of 5 stars Ralphie May is just plain funny, March 14, 2006
This review is from: Just Correct (Audio CD)
This guy calls shots as he sees them and he takes his set places many comics just won't go. His act is similar to a guys like Carlos Mencia or Sam Kinison. He isn't afraid to say what he wants and he's not worried about the feelings of people who don't have a sense of humor. If this album offends you, get a sense of humor and get a reality check. The comedy is Raw, and like many acts similar to his you need to understand that this guy is going to push some limits, and push some "buttons". This album is an excellent buy.

Ralphie May impressed me for a few reasons. At first I wondered what the title "Just Correct" meant, and was surprised that it was a breakdown of political correctness. Because I tell you, I'm fed up with being politically correct! It seems in the world today we are bullied into being sensative, if that makes sense. Give me piece of mind or I'll mop the floor with you! He had the gaul to not just tell "racial" jokes, but to make fun of himself without apologizing for it.

He does make some valid points about weight that makes us wonder, when they said he was too fat to play a fat guy. It's more socially acceptable to be an alcoholic or a drug addict than it is to be overweight. HIs brand of hip hop comedy is pretty funny though, I have to admit. And on this DVD in the special features scene they go to Iraq to entertain the troups - he lets you see him in all his fleshy glory as he goes for a swim in Saddam's swimming pool.

I don't want to sound like a grouch for giving a comedy CD a low grade, but this was annoying and offensive. I'm a big fan of George Carlin and Margaret Cho so I am into off-color humor, but there was no comic payoff in this junk. Track #13 and #14 were most insulting. I guess making a target out of gay people is a big joke to some people. Whatever.

And I am NOT easily offended. It just seemed more mean-spirited than comical.
