I was pretty excited to see a Just Dance greatest hits coming out! We had previously owned JD1 and JD 2 for the wii.. Bought JD3 for kinect and to our suprise we actually liked it a lot more for kinect.. We don't really care about the scoring we play it to have fun and laugh at each other! I was excited that some of my favorites are on there! Although a bit disappointed to see my all time fav from JD2 bollywood wasn't on there! Its really fun to play and rock out too..
My hubby and I love dancing to girlfriend and jump in the line..
I'd rather have it for the kinect because it's hands free dancing and to us is more fun. I think it was worth the money and definitely keep us tied over til JD4 is released. Plus we missed dancing to those songs! After playing it on kinect we don't really like the wii versions much!
Just Create is also on there which is a lot of fun to mess around with!! Also a Dance off which was a lot of fun to play with.. The dancer starts to dance and you follow and then it says record and you get a couple seconds to freestyle and then the dancer comes back on and it does that again and then you see replay and it replays back your freestyle and everyone playing has to follow your moves to get points.. Pretty fun!!

I bought this to spice up my exercise routine. It's a lot easier than Zumba so you don't spend a lot of time learning steps. My favorite is "Simon Says" where you follow along with the little avatar at the bottom of the screen. My first song was "Eye of the Tiger" a perfect choice for a workout song. I channelled my inner Rocky and rocked out. I looked like a total dork but I had a lot of fun.

I'm thinking of bringing this out at our next party. After a couple of drinks, I don't think anyone will be to worried about the "dork factor".

"Just Dance Greatest Hits"(Xbox 360 version) is an exciting game filled with some of the more recent dance hits. I bought this game to supplement Dance Dance Revolution as a healthy way to have fun while improving my dance skills in privacy. I was pleasantly surprised at how user friendly it is and even my husband joined in and liked the game. I am still learning how to use the game and maneuver through all of my songs, but I started out playing the game via random song selection. "Acceptable In The 80's" by Calvin Harris was the very first track that came on for me while "Hey Ya" by Outkast was the first random tune that played for my husband. My only caveat with this game is that not all of the songs are by the original artists. For example, when I decided to consciously choose the songs "Barbie" was one of the first choices that came to mind. However, the version by Countdown Dee's Hit Explosion came out ok but I would have preferred hearing Aqua's version of "Barbie". The full track listing to this game is on justdancegamedotcom. "Just Dance Greatest Hits" (Xbox 360) is best for those who like any of the Dance Dance Revolution games and/or dance exercise games with exciting music.

Maybe it's just me, but the more recent Just Dance games (like Just Dance 2014) contain choreography that is a little uncomfortable--especially for girls. Not everybody likes to stand up in front of a roomful of people and act like a seductive zombie. That's why I really like the Greatest Hits. The choreography is more fun and down-to-earth. And speaking of down-to-earth, the recording feature lets you see just exactly how silly you all look. I think it would be perfect for an office Team-Building exercise.

This game is the best of the Just Dance series.
Just Dance 3 was good, because it introduced the 4 player mode, and the choreography sharing, but it was a little bit fresh compared to this greatest hits.
For those who hasn't played Just dance 1 and 2 on the Wii, you should try it, and see how much it's fun to play without any wiimote on some best music titles.

If Just Dance 3 was your first experience with the franchise, you may understandably be reluctant to drop another $40 on another Just Dance game. The third installment in the JD series was admittedly a huge disappointment and a poor way to introduce the series to the X-Box crowd. The song selection was awful and the choreography was at times pretty ridiculous... simply put, it just didn't live up to the benchmark set by the previous two titles.

But there's good reason why the Just Dance franchise has been so incredibly popular among Wii users and one of the top selling video game titles in recent history, and the songs and dance routines featured on Greatest Hits do a much better job of showcasing how much fun the series can be!

I should mention, however, that many of our personal favorites from Just Dance 1 & 2 are noticeably missing from this supposedly "best of" compilation (Spice Girls, Wham, Dee-Lite, MIKA, Divine Brown, Kylie Minogue, etc). With so much of the real "best" content missing, I'm guessing we'll be seeing a Greatest Hits Pt. 2 sometime soon.

I had purchased a few of the Just Dance games for the Wii, but when my Wii console died I decided to get a Kinect for my Xbox instead of just replacing the Wii. I didn't want to reinvest in buying all the Just Dance games that my daughter loves so instead I bought the Greatest Hits version. Luckily it has all of her favorite songs and I got it during one of the daily deals.
