Please go over to iTunes to see the names of these remixes, then come back here to purchase whatever you like. The crackling is intentional I believe. 2 bucks for four different remixes is actually a deal.

Granted, this won't be a long review but it will at least review the album and it's tracks.

APPERANCE

The disc has a really trippy design made up of distorted squares. The back has the track listings, credits nad a small picture of Lady Gaga. There is no album book as the cover. Just a slip of paper.

TRACKS

1. Just Dance - The basic track everyone's heard on her album, on the radio, etc. You should have heard this before.
2. HCCR's Bambossa Main Mix - more of a dub than a mix. She really doesn't sing at all and uses repetition to actually make it a good mix. Not the best, but pleasing to the musical palette.
3. Richard Vission Mix - Basically another dub to basically "just dance" to. Nothing really showcases her talent here.
4. Trevor Simpson Mix - Using crackling and distortion, this remix is the best in the whole package! Here, she actually SINGS! The best remix by far!

VERDICT

This collection could not be better, but it gets a star off because of the poor remixes on this collection. Not even the exceptional title track and lone great remix could save it from a four star review. It was still great and worth the purchase however!

I also recommend Just Dance Remixes Part 2 (not availible on Amazon) if you liked these. It is a digital download exclusive and features 4 more remixes from RedOne, Space Cowboy, Tony Arzadon, and Robots to Mars.

Now I can't say this is my favorite of the "Remix" albums of Lady Gagas but it's not a bad mix. I mean you can defianetely tell there are ups and downs to the songs. Yes even the album version. But for $1.99 WHO COULD RESIST? So in conclusion it is a really good deal.

The lyrics talk about a lifestyle where you're so out of it the music dosen't seem to really matter. Maybe she's relying on the beat of this re-mix which is pretty good but she's no Madonnaor Britney at this point her best assset is her bodyand that she's new to the dance floor.

Just Dance by Gaga was a song I remember hearing last summer, by December 2008 I had purchased her debut album - The Fame and I couldn't stop listening to it. Wow! I was really impressed with her voice and catchy, hooky pop songs. Some say she is a Madonna rip-off, I don't think that's fair - these two women are completely different and why can't I like them both? Just Dance was definitely the hottest dance track of 2008. There are some great remixes on here, check it out!

Add to your collection! I admit, I'm old-school and want the actual disc(or vinyl)to have...SO...I bought, I downloaded into my Zune and I have the better of both old- and new-school!

This US 2008 CD single comes housed in a regular sized jewel box and has the main version backed by the HCCR'S Bambossa Main Mix (7:12) found on her other UK CD 4-Track single, Richard Vission Remix (6:13) [not found on other singles here at amazon] plus Trevor Simpson Remix (7:20) found on her hard to find Single Box.

While the first mixes offer a super loop mix type comparable to Madonna's Luke Slater Super Luper Power of Goodbye to an extent don't be fooled. This is phenomenal work-out music, energy boosters, or just dance fix! Not the full blown 80's disco type mixes but more the tech-no trance effect with repetitive echoes. As the mixes progress, you enter the remix - a more disco dance electronic a style! These last 2 remixes are sensational! The Richard Vission Remix has elevating pulsating beats definitely straying from the original and giving it a more club ambiance. The last one is definitely my favorite and one of the reasons I went for the Single Box.

From all the Just Dance singles this would be the one to hear to decide which one you will buy say it's the UK one or another. Personally, I prefer 2-3 tracks on each listening experience as I get easily bored fast. Ironically, this single was a great surprise as I listen to it often. From dance moods to happy type vibes this is an excellent purchase for the price. Lady Gaga is definitely talented and this single will give any listener a taste of her music, vocal abilities, and electronica retro disco styles. This is dance heaven!

I ordered this remix CD, along with LoveGame. This one is by far the better of the two, but that's not saying much. The first two mixes are the best; the second is the best of all the four. Mixes three and four are tepid, at best. Again, I would love to see her collaborate with some great dance mixers: Offer Nissim especially. At least his music moves. The last two cuts on this CD are snoozeville. Still, I love me some Lady Gaga!
