eminem is the best rapper out right now. he has major originality unlike most other rappers out right now and he has great ryming skiklls. he isnt afraid to speak his mind and doesnt care about others opinions. his beats rhymes and whole outlook are great. i would give it 7000000000000 stars if i could

Detroit based sick-wid-it emcee Eminem (pronounced like the chocolate candy) presents his first offering after signing with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment.

The A-side is a remix of the independent classic with the same lyrics. Be careful not to play this for the kids, as Eminem (a/k/a Slim Shady) throws shocking scenarios your way on some straight up bring-the-pain stylings. This anthemic single is sure to get stuck up in your cranium like old algebra lessons from 9th grade (be sure to carry the "9").

Eminem's B-side is an off-the-wall two-part story over some hard hitting drums courtesy of Dr. Dre's studio composer Mel Man. This song is sure to bring some chuckles from everyone as Em's mom "knocks his brain out of his skull with the remote control." Not for the weak and squeamish.

Overall, Eminem is one of those rappers that comes along every once in a long while and knocks the hip-hop community onto its collective rear. Nothing old here, all crispy and fresh on Eminem's major label debut single.

Eminem is one of the only people out there today that tells it like it is. What I like most about him is that he doesn't try to kiss up on everybody just because he's a white guy trying to rap.

All I gotta say is that this is the phattest thing I've heard in a long, long time. Check the album on 2/23/99. Don't sleep, ya'll.

Damn, someone finally did it, and who would be better than slim........ I did a show wit' EM before he released the "SLIM SHADY" E.P. and my man was doing his thang for every MC in the M-I. His skillz are on point like a needle injection. "I hit the trees harder then Sunny Bono" better watch out for the L.P.. I done listen to it through the streets and it's hot as takin' a bath in the sun......He's like the gate drug{weed} leadin' you to try others like POWDA'

After viewing the 'My name is...' video on MTV I loved it and ran to the internet for more information. I downloaded several of the new songs off of the "Slim Shady". Now, two hours later, I've relized that the dry, but temporarily refreshing, taste of Eminem is repeated throughout each of his songs. To think that this goofy, one-hit-wonder is teaming up with Dre and Snoop is too unbelievable. Sorry, but he is not going places. I did like some songs the first time I heard them. In conclusion: I WILL MOST LIKELY BE BUYING THE 2/23/99 RELEASE, although it may not fit at first I do see it growing. ....we'll see. :-)
