Fifteen months ago, bounty hunter Chad Hogan fled New York for the safe confines of Florida because his girl friend Hannah McGee wanted commitment and marriage. He gave her an Alfa Romeo instead of a ring. Now their boss Elliot Blackstone wants them to work together on a case that could save his bail bond business. Not only does Hannah reject working with the man she loves, but worries about his reaction when he learns that he is the father of an eight-month-old child. However, loyalty and good money forces Hannah to agree to one last case as a bounty hunter before she quits and becomes a private sleuth.

However, as they work in close proximity, both internalizes that they fear letting the other inside their soul again. Still, in spite of their efforts to keep the flame out, the passion between them remains strong. However, neither one could anticipate what an eight-month-old girl will do to the barriers protecting Chad's heart.

JUST EIGHT MONTHS OLD is an entertaining contemporary romance centering on commitment and secrets inside a suspense-laden plot. The story line works because the appealing characters, including the imp that owns the hearts of two tough bounty hunters, come across as genuine. The sensational writing team, Tori Carrington, scores high marks with this pleasant and poignant reading experience.

Even when Hannah McGee was a NYC police officer, she'd never liked carrying a revolver. As a bounty hunter, Hannah only carries a stun gun she calls The Equalizer and a small canister of pepper spray tucked inside her waistband. Now she plans to trade her bounty hunter title for that of a private investigator; that is, until her boss persuades her to take one more case as a personal favor to him. Unfortunately, that last job requires working with Chad Hogan, the man who walked out of her life fifteen months ago without a second glance. The man she loved and wanted to marry. The man who, unknowingly, is the father of her eight month old child, Bonnie.

Tori Carrington is actually the psedudonym of husand-and-wife writing team Lori and Tony Karayianni, writers of extraordinary talent that blend sophisticated prose and fast paced action. They have an unusual ability of capturing the reader's heart and imagination with their depth of plot line and vivid characterization. Indeed, In JUST EIGHT MONTHS OLD, Tori Carrington's creative energy and engaging story line most heartily satisfy the romance reader's desire for a fullfilling reading experience. Very highly recommended.
