If you've ever given any thought to how friendships evolve over the course of your life, of how romanitc relationships and marriage affect your friendships, or even the differences in the quality of friendships of males and females, you will definitely bee well-advised to pick up a copy of this wonderful book by Dr. Lillian B. Rubin.

The book is well written and strewn with pertinent quotes and interesting examples from real life, a realy delightful read. My only complaint is that the author makes a few two many generalizations on how gender affects male and female friendship realtionships.

If you're interested in friendships, you should pick up a copy of this book.

This book is very useful for anyone conducting research on friendship in spite of how old it is.
