i got this album a week ago.need i say more.39 brutal,and yummy tracks.i put this on when i was eating lunch.it was fast and extreme.i began to chow super-fast.the lyrics rule.plus anyone who takes the words serously is a fool.i read on the net that the vocalist exposed himself in public.this was weird and made me intersted in the band.i heard a few tracks and felt hungry.i bought the album.i listen to IT JUST GETS WORSE when i eat my meals.it's like a phat piggy bashing all in its path.its a fun and happy album.i love it.it makes me eat fast.

When i bought this,the person at the counter looked at me as if i was a mad man.So i said "what's wrong".Then she said that A.C were a band of mysogynistic pigs.

i began to laugh and i said"that is not true". I was hungry and had to go eat. So when i got to my pad i threw it in my cd player and began to chow.

i eat like a horse now.i dig this album.

First of all, if the song titles offend you, go back to your cheesy gospel music.

I don't like grindcore. I think it is ridiculous and uses the excuse of 'we play fast and heavy' to cover up the fact that they don't know the first thing about musicianship. But A.C. is great; their chaotic playing fits their hilarious lyrical content perfectly. I'd give these guys medals for offending people. People are too soft-hearted and libertarian these days, and need to be offended. So the weak can cry me a river; the rest of us can laugh our anuses off listening to this pure chaotic tapestry.

This band is really very famous considering how 'offensive' they can be. Basically, Seth Putnam wanted to create the most offensive band name, the most offensive lyrics, and make some of the most annoying and offensive music ever created. He did pretty well for the most part, except that most of the songs are quite listenable. Some are even melodic, and would take some talent to play at least. AxCx's music can be described as Noise, but it's part Grindcore and part Death Metal as well, i think.

I fortunately downloaded this whole album (And AxCx's other album "Top 40 Hits") off Seth Putnam's website - sethputnam.com -. For anyone out there who wants to download any or all songs from AxCx's album "Top 40 Hits", i suggest you visit the site as soon as possible and download them all for free from there.

Seth Putnam's vocals are all-out brutal, and sound inhuman. And some songs only last for 20 seconds, where others go for 2 minutes. The production isn't the best, but it certainly makes AxCx sound even more underground. If you're into Metal, and haven't heard of this band, i suggest you look up some of their lyrics on the Internet and prepare yourself to laugh your ass off. Just looking at the song-titles is funny enough.

Such people as Phil Anselmo, from Pantera/Superjoint Ritual/Down fame, have played with AxCx. And i think they'd appeal to fans of Eyehategod mainly too. And basically anyone wanting to try them out. For more info about them, definitely check out - sethputnam.com -.

I must say the music is ... awful cause its basic death metal with the growls and grunts, but once i read the lyrics, i could not stop laughing. The lyrics are like worse than ..., but there so immature its funny. Id give this like 6 stars cause the lyrics are funny!!

As a fan of the crust/grind scene in general, it was almost impossible for me to eventually find out about AC. Upon seeing the song titles on any of their releases but specifically 'It Just Gets Worse', i was not only shocked that a band would even consider doing this, but appauled by the amount of sexism, homophobia, and other forms of prejudice that the band emits. After looking into the band, reading reviews and interviews from various sources, my opinion began to change about AC. As it stands in the current grindcore/crust scene, bands are getting so serious politically (which is not a bad thing, being aware of oppression and helping educate about it is by all means a good thing) that some listeners are being bogged down by the heavy vibe. AC has brought humor (although it is very risky and offensive humor) to the scene and has successfully pulled it off, making listeners realize that sometimes being too political or politically correct can ruin you. Making extreme jokes about other bands, sexual preference, and gender has created an outlet in which people who are sick of preaching but want to hear grind can go to for a breath of fresh air. If you have an open mind and wont start believing what these guys say, and you need an escape from generic grindcore, pick up one of their titles.

im really happy this cd was released because now i have something to tell me how to think and feel. i was really confused but now that i read the lyricsheet i know that its okay to think this way and i should do anything that gives me pleasure even if it hurts other people. i like these guys cause they let me know that others feel this way too and its okay. sometimes i like to play this cd as well as agoraphobic nosebleeds "altered states of america" at the same time while i stroke off to poop videos. its insane! give it a shot! you WONT be disappointed.

If you're going to be offended by a band with song titles like "Being Ignorant Is Awesome"... come on. Lighten up. There's no way a band like AC could NOT exist in these godawful hyper-politically correct times we're suffering in.

Basically, as someone has already said, this band and all of their compisitions are one big joke. If you buy it, expect very short, repetitive songs, filled with mindless screaming...

The perk? Check the CD booklet, and read the lyrics. You'll laugh your ____ up pretty hard.

Absolutely hilarious, silly song titles, ridiculous vocals, bad musicianship, this band is a complete farce, why do any of the reviewers take this s**t seriously? - it's obviously a joke. Grindcore at its stupidest. Woooaaarrrgh... Makes me grin every time though...

I had followed AC for years before this, their crowning achievement in the field of extreme offensiveness, blew me away. Not only did the music get a bit catchier (I say this of course, meaning it in a demented and slightly abstract way..), but the lyrics...... Let me put it this way: They were trying to get themselves killed with the release of this album. There is only a very slight bit further they could have gone in the way of racial/ethnic/sexual malice.. and of course, the personal slander of several celebrities which is THE only thing censored from the lyric sheet. Which brings me to another shocking landmark: All the lyrics are printed for your reading convenience. For the first time, you know what they're screaming instead of having to guess from the song title. And it really is that bad. This is downright vicious. Almost every surefire hot-button is pushed to the breaking point. In graphic detail.
But that's been discussed. What hasn't been paid much attention though, is the startling engineering of personal emotional suffering. These are some of the cruelest lyrics I've ever seen because of the specifically designed mental cruelty the situations are thought to provide. Killing someone's dog intentionally, then punching their pregnant wife in the stomach? Pushing someone's wife in front of the subway (based on the actual headline I would imagine)? That, my friends, is more sadistic than the entire Relapse death metal roster. Removing malice from the junior high school fantasy realm of death and dismemberment and bringing it to actual mental anguish... It's fascinating that it's been explored so rarely in this scene.
Which is not to imply that this isn't one of THE most hilarious things I've ever come across. It definately is. Come on... does anyone take them seriously with titles like "I Ate Your Horse", "Hungry Hungry Hippos", and "I'm Really Excited About the Upcoming David Buskin Concert"?! It's so absolutely ridiculous that it's brilliant. It takes a second to make sure these guys are joking, but it quickly becomes evident when you realize they aren't trying to turn people into racist, sexist, homophobic, sadistic miscreants. It's too over-the-top and presented in such a tongue-in-cheek manner.
Although this band is now gone (due to boredom of the members...no outside circumstances), they will surely continue to be one of the most controvertial bands in grindcore, simply because so many people cannot understand that there's a big difference between being able to laugh at this sort of thing, and actually believing it. To those who are offended, rest assured that you fell right into the trap. Congratulations.
