Among the many excellent analogies Mrs. Lotz draws from John's Gospel, I especially appreciated the life lessons drawn from Christ's first miracle -- turning water into wine at a marriage feast. Just as the wine at that feast disappeared glass by glass, so does love and zest for living quietly slip away in our own lives. Jesus Christ continues to work miracles in our day when we ask him to replace the "wine" in our own lives and refill us with joy and love. Mrs. Lotz is a master as seeing these valuable "life lessons" in every chapter of the book of John, on which her latest book, "Just Give Me Jesus," was based.

This is a great book for Christians and non-Christians! I finished it and immediately started it again. Ms. Lotz uses the Gospel of John to help us gain insights about Jesus. The book really convicted me to establish a daily time of prayer, study and meditation with Jesus. It is clear Ms. Lotz is a very gifted Bible teacher! God Bless Her

Through her gift of teaching, Anne Graham Lotz has helped me know the Lord Jesus Christ in a deeper way.

Her book, Just Give Me Jesus, helps to understand the writings of the Gospel of John. I did not want the book to end, however when it did end, I read John's Gospel with newly opened eyes. This book was an absolute spiritual feast which was happily devoured by this hungry christian.

This book is highly recommended and I look forward to other writings from Anne.

This book is fantastic! I have a very deep relationship with Christ and even so, this book brought me deeper! Mrs. Graham Lotz has a profound gift for bringing Jesus to your life through John's Gospel. I felt like I was there with Jesus during His earthly ministry. She brings the human side of Jesus alive on the pages.....it is just a fantastic book! I highly recommend it for fellow Christians to get a fresh look at our Savior, AND for those who are not believers, this book is it!

Anne Graham Lotz has taken the Book of John and turned it into an understandable, inspiring book of her own. She explains familiar Bible passages with a fervor and faith which sheds new light on old passages. Whether you are a mature Christian who needs a little refreshing of your faith or someone who is on the fence and has not made a decision for Jesus, this is a wonderful book to read. The author's faith shines through every page and makes you want to have what she has. Through it all, she shares wonderful stories of herself and others which bring the Bible down to earth and show its relevance to today's world.

THIS IS A BOOK EVERYONE MUST READ.. WE ARE ALL SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS. AND THERE IS ONLY ONE ANSWER TO ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS.. GIVE THIS BOOK A CHANCE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE. I AM BUYING MANY BOOKS AND GIVING IT TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I AM ALSO DOING A STUDY ON THE GOSPEL OF JOHN AND THIS WILL BE THE COMPANION BOOK.. ANN WILL BE IN SANDIEGO IN OCT. DON'T MISS HER.. I picked this book up at Sam's Club a few days after 9/11. Up until this time, I had thought that Jesus was a man with special talents written about in a book of old stories. Jesus became alive to me through this book. I cried at Anne's description of his death. A friend gave me an NIV version of the Bible. I read the Gospel of John for myself and used Anne's book as a kind of study guide and found that I COULD understand it - it wasn't a bunch of mumbo jumbo I always thought the Bible was! I am continuing to read it and I have learned to pray. I have felt His spirit. Although I am not reborn yet or "saved" yet - I continue to pray "Just Give Me Jesus!"

Thank you Mrs. Lotz. I pastor a Bible church where we have now twice publicly presented the CD as we utilized a background video of nature scenes...Once at the conclusion of a morning worship service and recently (Dec 2000) at our Christmas Eve service.

In a word...POWERFUL

Our hearts leaped in agreement. Just give me Jesus!

God's greatest gift...indescribable, but Mrs. Lotz came close.

Anne Graham Lotz gives a discussion based on several passages from the Gospel of John. The book is not an acedemic study of John, but a series of sermons on life based on what she sees in Christ through these passages of scripture. It is well written and inspirational, excellent for personal devotional reading.

I think this is a book I could thoroughly reccomend to a friend who has recently been born-again Christian. I enjoyed reading it and also got the audio tapes to go with it which I listen to in the car.
It is an encouraging and renewing read for the mind as well as the spirit.
