Their teacher, Miss Lois, has challenged the third graders to work in groups and present a project on how to "go green" in some way. Many valuable ideas are presented, such as turning off lights, conserving water, and reusing and recycling. A subplot involves Grace's best friend's cousin coming for an extended stay and the trouble it causes. Narrated by Grace, the story is simple, yet informative and fun. Childlike drawings are interspersed throughout. This is an appealing book for early chapter-book readers. My daughter received a Just Grace book several years ago and she just can't get enough of it. She is really enjoying reading several of these books. They are very cute.

Just Grace is such an adorable character, and this fourth installment does not disappoint.

This time, Just Grace's teacher decides it's time to teach the kids how to go green. Just Grace takes this assignment to heart, but at the same time she is dealing with a new (temporary) presence in her life.

This is the fifth book in the JUST GRACE series for younger school students.

Grace is in the third grade. Her teacher, Miss Lois, is teaching a unit on going green. Grace and her best friend, Mimi, have to do a project for the unit. Mimi's older cousin is coming to visit and both girls are excited.

This is a great series for upper elementary students who are struggling with reading. Grace is likable and funny.

There are also many facts about what pollution is doing to our planet. Did you know that every time you flush the toilet that you use 3.5 gallons of water? When you compare that to families in third world countries who live on only 10 gallons a day, that makes you think.

My favorite part was when they had to design a superhero costume for conserving the planet. That was super creative and something I am going to steal for my own class!
