This is the second Gospel CD of Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver that I have bought recently (the other is Winding through LIfe). I was a little bit disappointed in both. Not disappointed with the singing or harmonies or instrumentations, but choice of songs. I really wish he would go back to the more traditional bluegrass gospel sounds. I think Barry Scott (his tenor/lead singer) ROCKS! He has one of the best voices in Bluegrass today. I won't give up on Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, because I think Doyle is tops!!!! I just was a little disappointed in the choice of songs on this CD and on the Winding through Life CD.

I love bluegrass and I love southern gospel... Doyle Lawson always has a great combonation. This CD is no different.

This is a wonderful collection of gospel songs that showcase the tight vocal harmony talents of the group. There is a certain "barbershop" theme to this CD unlike some of the prior releases. If you want an example of pure vocal harmony that sometimes gives you goose bumps, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver is your obvious choice - especially on this CD.

If you like blue grass style gospel music this is one you don't want to miss. Full of great gospel songs with wonderful harmonies. Add this one to your collection today you won't be dissapointed.

As a big fan of this wonderful group I really love this one.Keep up the singing for JESUS.

The group members may change, but the great sound is the same. This latest release by Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver continues the groups' reputation for great bluegrass sound. Tight harmonies enhance this collection of Gospel songs. A must have!

Doyle Lawson once again has produced a wonderful CD of blugrass gospel. If you are a fan of 50's gospel with simple acoustic arrangements then you'll love this CD. Lawson's group lets their great vocals and close harmony convey a powerful message. Once again they prove simpler is better.
