A sweet collection but could have been more. 3.5 stars,

An anthology of 3 stories and 1 short one. The main story, "Just my luck" is a sweet read between a student and his sensei. The setting is rather unique as the student plagued by bad luck all through his young life finds salvation in the arms of his sensei. But his sensei is not really who he is. The sex surely could have been more explicit in this one but it is rather crudely drawn.
The second story on a "people phobia" toymaker and his gentle hands "android" is my favorite. This is shorter but emotionally more effective and the bespectacled uke is cute. An ending with a nice surprise here. The 3rd story on a sensei with school uniform fetish is the most explicit and kind of cute. The uke dressed in his conservative uniform does look sexy and the sex is nicely drawn here. The last story between 2 school friends is just too short to matter. I have no regrets buying this but not a really distinct collection. The artwork is a mixed bag, with rather untidy panels in the first story and nicely drawn ones in the 2nd and 3rd stories.

Out of the four stories in this book I like the title story least of all. "Just My Luck" could've been better, there was the potential for a good story here but it wasn't very compelling for some reason, I wasn't into the story at all. The second story "Mechanisms of Love" is probably the best in the collection. I liked the plot better and I could almost see a longer version of it as an OVA being good. "School Uniforms and You" was a bit funny, and "The Rumored Pair" was just...short.
Overall the collection was nothing special. I didn't enjoy reading it very much at all. I don't consider anything in this to be good enough that its worth buying. A few of the stories had potential but they just weren't developed enough, none of the characters really stood out to me.

A fairly standard yaoi manga but that characters are likable, the art is gorgeous and the story is fun to read.
