When it comes to hair, I've been rather fortunate. I'm 71. My hairline has receded some and my hair is thinner on the top. No problem. I keep it trimmed short and it looks fine for someone of my age. I've been fortunate with the color also. I'm a little gray around the temples and "salt and pepper" elsewhere on the head and beard.

I have a considerably younger fiancée. She's a former hairdresser who takes care of me and introduced me to "Just for Men" shampoo-in haircolor to manage my gray. It's simple and easy and does a remarkably good job. I use the color and get my haircut about every five weeks. The total time for dying (first) and cutting (second) is about an hour.

My hair is naturally dark brown, so when I first used "Just for Men" I chose that color. After dying, my hair was uniformly dark brown. Too much so, I might add. It looked somewhat artificial. After a few tries, I switched to using light-brown dye. Now when I dye, my natural dark-brown hair comes through as such and my gray hair are dyed light brown. It gives a nice slightly multicolored textured appearance and I'd defy anyone to detect that it's a dye job, no matter how close the inspection might be. I trim my beard into a mustache and goatee and dye them at the same time with the same results.

"Just for Men" is an excellent product and I've achieved splendid results. People often guess that I'm up to 20 years younger than my real age. Others ask how I've managed to avoid gray hair. I just laugh and joke about industrial-strength "Just for Men." I enjoy looking my best, but I'm not trying to deceive anyone.

Old guy trying to look less old. Sad, yes. (sigh) Works well, leaves enough gray so the final result doesn't look totally fake. None of my friends have laughed out loud or made fun, so either they're very polite (not) or the effect is natural.

One caveat: be careful, leaving it on for the full time recommended left a darker result than I had hoped for. It eventually faded a bit, but next time I'll cut the stand time in half.

This is a great product to cover up mens gray hair, however guys usually don't have a ton of hair and therefore the amount of product they put in one bottle is a waste. I think I used like a 1/8 of a bottle and since you can only use it once, I had to throw the rest away. I'm trying to figure out how I can use this product twice to get more use out of it. Overall, it is a great product and works wonders to hid those grays. It makes it look very natural!

I am so glad my girlfriend got me to try this stuff. What a difference it made. It really looks good and natural. It's really easy to use, too. It slowly lightens up over the weeks. I just use it after I cut my hair every 3 or 4 weeks. I get the best continued results by following the directions as though I was doing my first application.

I do not often rate my many purchases from Amazon, but I want to rate this item. It works great. I have had grey hair for 30 plus years. I've tried a couple of products, but none really worked. I tried this, Just for Men, about five weeks ago. I use the Light Brown. I have used it four Saturdays in a row, using the same tube. I will get about six treatments out of one tube. As one reviewer said, just put the lid on tight and keep air out of the tube. My hair is now light brown. My wife has not even noticed, it is a very light brown. Get some good plastic gloves, I use the nitrite gloves I purchased here on Amazon, to work on my cars with. (order one size larger than you usually wear). It really isn't shampoo-in. You rub the 'Just for Men' product into your hair, leave it on for five minutes, and then shampoo it out. You can leave it on longer than five minutes, it appears to stop working after five minutes. It isn't messy. It doesn't turn your skin brown. I might even try using it without gloves? I use the gloves over and over, simply washing them with hand soap after I apply it to my hair. I now have light brown hair instead of grey hair. It is so easy, not messy, and doesn't have an offensive odor. For these reasons, I wanted to rate this product with five stars. I have short hair, about one inch long. There is just no reason not to get four or five uses out of one tube, if your hair is short. I'll probably use it every other week, or so, now that my hair is the color I like. Isn't Amazon great ! You don't even have to go to the store to buy your stuff !

I color my husbands hair and this color is so easy to use and covers grays nicely. The price is cheaper than walmart so I love the 3 pack for the savings! I always say when it comes to bulk buying, buy it single first and see if you like it-then buy it in bulk or multi pack to avoid waste and disappointment.

It's tough to know if you've got a color match with the small pictures on this site. It's easier to hold the box up to your head & have someone else be the judge. Also, a little more to it than just shampooing it in. You may want to have a professional do this for you to get the roots, tips, etc.

I tried the light brown on my blond/gray hair. The directions said if this was first application to cut the time below 5 minutes so I used 3 1/2 minutes. It does not just color the gray, that is a complete lie. It colored all of my hair a medium brown and (much darker that natural) looks really fake. Also has already caused more thinning after just two days.

This product sucks! Don't even think about it!
