This CD is just a re-packaging of mid-90s debut CD recorded BEFORE her later work with New Radicals - later, Kelly Clarkson remade JUST MISSED THE TRAIN on her multi-platinum debut. Now the real question is: WHY won't RCA finally release her criminally "shelved" PORTABLE LIFE CD from the late 90s? Great singer-songwriter who can't seem to shake her "TV child star" moniker to be the superstar she deserves to be!

This CD is a compilation of post-New Radicals work by Brisebois, with a focus on the single releases. The overall sounds is quite similar to New Radicals (Gregg Alexander is credited on several songs) with immaculate production. Well worth a listen

I bought her album out of curiosity because she was the little girl on the Archie Bunker Show. I was really surprized at her vocals and the meaningful content of her songs. I love this ablum. I never understood why her singing career did not take off.

Most of the songs are co-written with Gregg Alexander, with their Todd Rundgren influences showing all over the place. Danielle has pipes, the arrangements are non-stop fascinating and the songs soar muscially and lyrically. Heartfelt aces, every one of them. This is a must-have for New Radicals fans.
