Just Mobile Xtand for iPhone and iPhone 3G

This IPhone stand is great to look at and serves the purpose of holding your phone on your desk. Unfortunately, I, as many others I am sure, put my IPhone in a case and the Xtand only will hold a naked IPhone. There is no adjustability to the arms that grip the corners of the phone. From the pictures on there web site it wasn't clear that the arms were solid and fixed. I assumed that they would ''scissor'' to accommodate all sizes. Unfortunately, in order to use the stand I have to take it out of its form fitting hard case.....a bit of a pain.

I'm shocked by the negative reviews on this site. Yes, this stand was meant to be used with a naked Iphone, however, there are 4 rubber "feet" that you add to secure the 3G Iphone. I have a case on my iphone (Power Support Air Jacket, black model). It's a very popular case that you'll find at your local Apple store. With this cover on my iphone it still fits nicely on this stand. I just need to remove the top 2 rubber feet and keep the other 2 on the stand. Simple solution.

That being said i love the stand. Keeps the iphone at a 45 degree angle which is perfect for when i need to look something up right before going to bed on safari or waking up to it as an alarm in the morning. If you are using a big bulky case then you may want to hold back on getting the xtand. Otherwise go for it, it's great.

UPDATE 8.1.10: I still really love my stand. It's so much nicer than the dock Apple sells. Wanted to update my review and say this stand also fits my new iPhone 4 perfectly sans case. So great!

I purchased 3 of these. One for my wife's phone and the other ones I use at home and at the office. A great way to charge your phone or to review data without having to hold the phone.

Finally a simple, but effective stand. I got this yesterday for my office and am going to order another for home. Looks great and works great. Unlike the standard Apple cradle, I can actually use the phone while it's cradled as it is held at a perfect angle for typing. It is a little bit pricey.

This iPhone holder has a great design, it looks sort of like a mini iMac once you place your phone on it. The main reason why I purchased this stand was to make it easier to study for the GMAT. There are a few GMAT Apps in the App Store, and by placing my phone on this stand, I can easily go from question to question with out having to hold a pen in one hand and an iPhone in the other (not a hard task, unless your going through a 200+ question exam).

I've also used it to browse a few websites and YouTube, it's sort of nice having the iPhone on a stand, with the proper angle, and enjoy what you are doing. If you have a business or school app you spend tons of time on, or just watch movies and videos on your iPhone, this stand is a must have you will not regret purchasing.

The reason why I took one star off, is because you will have to remove the phone from it's case every time you want to place on on this stand. If you have one of those hard to remove cases, this may get annoying. I suppose if you have a case for look, more than protection, you could send your iPhone to [...] for a custom paint job, and never use a case again. ...just an idea.

It's accessories like this one, and the addition of iPhone Apps everyday that make me happy about having a phone that can do it all, and not want to have a NetBook that weighs more.

Looks good, nice finish, elegant design, two sets of rubbery corner peices to ensure snug fit. Unfortunately I use a external protector skin that is about 1 mm thick. I would have to take this off to have it fit in this stand. It is now sitting on my desk as some strange ornament unused.

I own a video production company with Mac Pros, MacBooks, the works.. Having my iPhone 4 on this slick looking holster just completes the look of my desk. Speakerphone, FaceTime, functionality, and stability are all perfect. Granted, you have to remove the phone from whatever case you have it in, it's a beautiful addition to any room with mac hardware in it. I'm about to buy perhaps a couple more for my bedside and my other office.

There are cheap universal phone stands out there, but this is the one with style. Love it! It fits iPhone 4 without case.
