My incredible mom turned 80 on the day before Mother's Day. I had to do something special for that occasion! This book is my tribute to her and to every woman who has loved a child more than her own life.

When I look at the collection of adorable, often humorous mother-and-child wildlife images in this book, what I see is my own mom's self-sacrifice and fiercely devoted love for her "cubs." I also see some of my wild antics she had to put up with . . .

Every page in this book was rigorously tested for it's "oooohhh" factor by women ages 20 to 80--who normally would not agree on anything. Any photo-and-text combination that did not yield a heartfelt sigh, coo or laugh from each one of these unwitting test subjects landed in a reject pile. Only hand-picked favorites made the final cut into this book.

I hope you and the mom (or mom-to-be) who receives this book each get a heart full of warmth from this affectionate and grateful tribute. --This text refers to an alternate Hardcover edition.

Stunning photographs of animal moms and babies with quotes to match. Every page creates a smile and warms the heart. I love it and look at it repeatedly, and my husband loves it too! For yourself or a gift, it's a failsafe purchase. I think everyone from age 2 to 100 will enjoy it.

I just recieved this book today from our scholastic book fair rep for chairing a Book fair at my childrens school. It is such a fun book that I am ordering it for my mom, grandma's and 2 cousins. and the price was great on Amazon. fun pick for mothers day. or anytime..
