I think it's the best Mad Caddies record with Ducks and Covers. I'll just review it song by song.
1. Drinking for 11 : Slow reggae song. I habitually don't like reggae but this one is sooo good. I like the horns in it. 10/10
2. Contraband : A fast punk-rock song. It's not long but still good and is not pop. Exactly what I like. 8/10
3. Villains : One of the best song on the record. The horn intro is one of the best I ever hear. After starts a fast punk song than the horns and the ska part come again. It's so good. Again, it's not pop. 10/10
4. Silence : One of the best song again. It's a real cool ska song (style of The Joust or Medium Unwell on DAC) with an heavy chorus punk-core style with screamings. It's different but excellent. 10/10
5. Just One More : Very different from what they habitually do. A kind of reggae mixed with latin music and a punk-horn ending. It's strange to explain buit it sound damn good! 9/10
6. Day By Day : A simple punk song with some element of pop in it, but not too much, so it's ok. I like it, it's not excellent, but still great. 8/10
7. Leavin : Another very good song. The horn part is really cool and entertaining and the lyrics are cool even if they are not poetry with big metaphors in it. 10/10
8. Rockupation : Probably the worst song on the record. It's a king of pop-punk song. Yeah, you probably discovered while reading my review that I hate pop-punk. Well it's true. But the lyrics are very good, I like the subject. 6/10
9. Last Breath : One of my favorite song. Don't know how to call that style but it's real cool. The chorus make you want to jump everywhere. 10/10
10. Spare Change? : A good reggae song. Not the best they've done but still great. 8/10
11. Riot : A good fast punk-rock song about politics.

I got into the Mad Caddies a few years ago when I heard the song "Road Rash" on a compilation. I bought Duck And Cover and was amazed by the versatility of the band. About a week ago I purchased the new album for the same reason: I heard a new song on a compilation, and I loved it. While I was at the store, I also had the privelige to buy Rock The Plank. Therefore, making comparisons is easy. I think that Rock The Plank is fairly good. It is a solid album with new, interesting songs. However, it was a little too poppy for my liking. Plus, less horns = less Dixie Ska = not good. However, it seems as if the band realized what they needed to do, and did it with Just One More. Opening with the awesome reggae ballad Drinking For 11, I could really get into the album. There were a lot of horns on this album, and a large variety of songs for them to be in. I was overly satisfied with how the album turned out, and whoever says that the album isn't punk enough hasn't heard Contraband. Wonderful album, is now up there with my other favorites!

This is an awsome CD. I am more into the punk songs then the ska songs but they are good too. Im just gonna rate it song by song.
1. Drinking For 11: Great slow song. I really like the lyrics. 8/10
2. Contraband: In my opinion the best song on the album. Really fast punk song. 10/10
3. Villains: Good Ska song. 8/10
4. Silence: Really good song. I like that they scream the chorus. 9/10
5. Just One More: Probably my least favorite song, Too slow and meaningless to me. 6/10
6. Day by Day: Another good punkish song. 9/10
7. Leavin': Its nothing really special but still pretty good. 7/10
8. Rockupation: I love the lyrics in this song. It talks about posers. 9/10
9. Last Breath: Hmmmmm... Not to great but not that bad either. 7/10
10. Spare Change?: Good slow song. 8/10
11. Riot: Probably my 3rd favorite song on the album. I like the Guitar in it. 10/10
12. 10 West: My favorite ska song and my 2nd favorite song over all. 10/10
13. Good Intentions: Pretty good although it sounds like a country song to me =\ 7/10
14. Wet Dog: Another good slow song (seem to be a few of those). 8/10
15. Game Show: A good song to close out the album and a good song in general. 8/10
To Conclude. BUY THIS CD NOW!!

Just one more is a pretty impressive album theres a few slow reggae/ska songs which really stand out like popcorn did at the end of duck and cover and the punk/ska songs still maintain high quality (10 west in particular). It's an instant improvement on rock the plank as the horns make more of an appearance which really make up the mad caddies unique sound. 'Just one more' is not quite up to the standard of 'quality softcore' and 'duck and cover' but it's taken a different direction to those albums as the albums horns sound more jazz orientated at times like monkeys with the trad-jazz sound you hear this on last breath and leavin mainly. The song just one more is one of the best on the cd it has a bit of a spanish feel to it, spare change, 10 west and day by day are also stand out tracks on the album. If you are looking for any ska album though get any album by the mad caddies as they are the most innovative ska band around at the moment.

With this CD, the Caddies are back on top of their game. I'm a big fan of all their CD's, but after Rock the Plank, I was afraid that like many other ska bands, they were giving up the horns and going punk. Not so. This CD brings back many of the awesome, blaring horns that defined Duck and Cover. There are still some hornless songs, but I don't really care, since those rock too. These dudes mix in so many different styles and do it so well. That whole Dixieland ska sound may seem weird to some, but I think it fits in really nicely. The best songs on this CD are Riot, Last Breath, Just One More, Leavin', Wet Dog, and 10 West. Buy it now, you won't be sorry. Long live the Caddies.
