This small crossword puzzle book is so simple as to be offensive. No challenge at all. Highly recommend against wasting your money on this book.

We like crosswords that are not overly difficult. This book is a collection of challenging puzzles that are not frustrating. We love it!

I have recently returned to an interest in crosswords and saw this collection based on a great newspaper puzzle. I have worked through about a third so far of these 100. These are well-thought out and challenging, yet not so hard as to be discouraging. I will definitely buy more in the series.

I discovered these puzzles by accident after doing one in my hometown paper when visiting one Christmas...yes,they are "very easy" for crossword regulars...but if you haven't done one in a long while and not savvy with the crossword clue conventions/lingo/puns that regular solvers take for granted, this collection won't make you feel like an idiot. And after you finish the book, you'll be ready to "graduate".

Also, I carry them around in my bag for those unexpected "sit and wait" situations where you can only devote "half a brain" to the puzzle.
