As good as I remember...,

I had all the 'Just Say...' series back in the 90's when Sire Records was birthing new music constantly. I certainly enjoyed the grunge period, but my tastes are too varied and I needed an escape, especially from the Billboard Charts. The Just Say albums were a breath of fresh air. In today's light some of the artists seem 'less' than I remember, but I still enjoy the entire playlist. Enough so that I decided to track them all down so I could have 'em all in my personal collection for good (i.e. on my hard drive). As the sign often says, collect them all!

Great compilation of early '90s songs ...,

The Throwing Muses "Not Too Soon" is one of their best, and the covers of "That's Entertainment" and "Another Girl, Another Planet" are amazing. This is definitely worth owning if you lived through this time in music, or are just a fan of early '90s college radio.

I got this for the Danielle Dax and Judybats songs which were both really good. It also has a song by the Farm which is good. The Carpe Diem song is good too. Everything else ranges from plain to awful, especially Dinosaur Jr.
