All of the best diverse music from the 1980s., November 26, 1998

This review is from: Just Say Yesterday (Audio CD)
Plastic Bertrand is a group that is very hard to find in the United States, even with a song played on the radio such as, "Ca Plane Por Moi." "Nowhere Girl," by B-Movie rocks also! There is just an amazing selection of fabulous flashback music. This is definately a need for all of those other 80s music buffs like me.

Very good early 80s compilation..., September 27, 2007
This review is from: Just Say Yesterday (Audio CD)
This is a must-have compilation for those building an 80s music collection. These are songs mostly from the early eighties. There is very little overlap between this compilation and the many other New Wave compilations out there...so chances are you will not find many of these tracks elsewhere. I first purchased this disc when it was released in 1992 and have never grown tired from listening to it.
Yes, the "Nowhere Girl" track is the long six-minute version with the piano introduction. This one track is worth the price of admission alone. This, along with Tim Scott's "Swear" I have not seen on any other compilation. Not all the songs are New Wave and from the 80s...there are at least two Punk Rock tracks and the "Pop Muzik" track is actually from 1979; this is mostly a late seventies/early eighties compilation.
Most of these tracks are very difficult if not impossible to find elsewhere. Some have simply fallen into obscurity. All the artists featured recorded under the Sire record label.
To close, I recommend this disc to anyone looking to fill some holes in their 80s/New Wave music collection.
