I've loved Kipling since my mother first began reading to me as I sat at her knee. His story about the Elephant's Child is an ideal. I imitated mother and read and re-read and re-read that particular story to my chldren until we knew many of the phrases by heart. great book...but this is the teeny tiny edition!
Great stories, I love the book....but the size is teeny tiny, pretty hard to read as the type is so small. If I had known this, I would have gotten the 'normal' sized version.

I've loved Kipling since my mother first began reading to me as I sat at her knee. His story about the Elephant's Child is an ideal. I always thought it relevant to the advice given by the Master when He was here on earth, long ago, to become as little chldren. What did He mean? Do what you are told? I think not. I think He wanted each of us to learn, to seek Wisdom, as St. James said to those who didn't know it all. This edition is very appropriate to share with any and all.
