Ken Wantuck's " Just In Time for America" provides one of the simplest explanations of how all of the Modern Manufacturing Practices fit together. While the term Just In Time has recently gained a bad reputation. The ideas expressed in this book are still valid today. This is the book for the people who will actually implement change on the shop floor. Anyone with even basic english skills will be able to comprehend the topics discussed, while those with advanced degrees will find a practical tool to assist them in training. Give this book to your employees to read. Wantuck has included clear graphics and pictures of plants where his actual process improvements have been implemented.

It's a great book to learn about Just in Time, its very good considering its from 1989. Easy to read and understand, very good information. If you need or want to learn about Just In Time and how it works(and how to make it work) this is the book for you because it explains it in a very understandable way and it goes step by step.
