Excellent taste and decent quantity for the price. One thing to watch out for: in humid climates, once the container's seal is broken, the strawberry pieces retain moisture and become soft, not crunchy anymore. Still taste great, but the texture is compromised.

Our kids really like these freeze dried strawberries. They're nice and crunchy. I also prefer the 4 ounce tubs - the raspberries come in an 8 ounce tub and you have to eat them quickly so they don't get soggy.
These strawberries are great as a snack, or on cereal. We usually end up eating them right out of the tub...

Really yummy! Perfect to eat plain or put on top of cereal. My kids and I love them!

My wife and I ordered these for our 1 year old to snack on. We are not "it has to be organic people" but we do like items grown in the U.S. so we can be somewhat assured that there are some controls on the food. We purchased these because the product description clear states PRODUCED IN THE UNITED STATES. Well, that is not the case. On the packaging it states (Product of the USA, Chile, South America and Mexico). Apparently Chile isn't part or South America and South America is its own country...
I will not be buying from this producer any more......

Excellent product - my family loves them. For best results, store them in the freezer. This will keep them from getting soft, and they will retain that wondeful crunch!

I can not stop eating these. Period. Straight out of the tub, on my cereal, you name it... they are SO DELICIOUS. I just wish they weren't quite so expensive. But they're worth every penny. Any more $ and I'd downgrade the review. If they were half as pricey, I'd keep a cupboard full of them.

The PERFECT snack imo.

I buy these mainly for my kids (3 and 9 months) and they are an incredibly healthy and delicious snack. My 3 month old has a gluten (wheat) allergy and these are completely safe for her to eat. My 9 month old has a few teeth and, since these fall apart fairly easily in his mouth, he has no trouble eating them at all. We have tried a few of the other fruits but they have been tougher for him to chew (especially the bananas!).

If you buy them in a large package and don't find yourself eating them as quickly as we do, you may want to separate them into a few batches as they do get just a little soft after being open for a while (this doesn't affect the taste).

A note--be sure to save the powder at the bottom of the container! It is a delicious thing to sprinkle over cereal or yogurt!

I BOUGHT THESE ESPECIALLY FOR MY GRANDKIDS. I EAT A MORNING CEREAL WITH DRIED STRAWBERRIES IN IT AND THEY WERE ALWAYS PICKING OUT THE STRAWBERRIES TO EAT. I BOUGHT 2 TUBS OF STRAWBERRIES, AND THEY WENT THROUGH ONE WHOLE TUB WITH A FEW DAYS. WILL BE ORDERING THESE AGAIN.

These freeze dried strawberries are a perfect snack. They taste way better than dehydrated fruit (in my opinion) and they're easy to carry with you to work, in your car, or on a hike! This makes them the perfect snack for someone like me that sits at a computer all day and wants to snack on something constantly. I buy these almost every time I order something from Amazon and they're gone fairly quickly... not due to there not being enough in each container, but due to the whole "betcha can't eat just one" phenomenon!

If you like strawberries and want a good snack, try these.

The Just Tomatoes brand combines nutrition and fresh taste. The whole family loves these freeze-dried strawberries, but of most important note, my 2 year old loves these (even though she won't eat fresh strawberries). They are less messy too! We like to take them on the road when we're traveling so we get some fruit in when it's not convenient to eat fresh.

The other reviews are accurate in their description of texture loss - especially in humid climates. However, the strawberries are still tasty when they are a little chewy. In fact, I prefer them that way. This is one of the few fruits my husband will take in his lunch!
