"Knowing Krista as I do, I can almost hear her gentle voice on every page, assuring each special-needs child that God genuinely cares... that he's in control... and he had something very special in mind when he created them." ~ Joni Eareckson Tada(Activist for the disabled and author of Joni, the award-winning Tell Me the Promises and Tell Me the Truth, and other classics)

This book is a great encouragement to those who have children with specail needs in their family. It reminds us that all children are created by God, are valuable and worthy of love and respect.

we LOVE reading this book!! My child does not have a disability, but learning that God loves everyone no matter how we look or what we can or can't do is invaluable. The pictures are great and we read it over and over! I love that each page has a Bible reference to go with every single loving statement.

This book is absolutely wonderful. It is beautifully made with beautiful pictures, loving and simple text on each page, and extremely high quality paper & binding. It is very appropriate for almost any age - I'd say as soon as a child is starting to realize they are different from others up to any adult age. It is also appropriate for any sort of disability. In the back is also a very touching story from the author's mother. God is glorified throughout. Very very highly recommend!! (I see that this says "reprint edition", so I hope that does not reflect a different binding or page quality, but probably not - however, if it does, I didn't know!)

... Even disability.

This book expounds on the comforting reality of God being sovereign over disability, and how it's specifically purposed by him to give us the best thing for us: a greater delight of Jesus.

This book is simplistic, so it's perfect for a short read through with children. Yet, the Scriptural truths are meaty enough for adults.

There's also a powerful section in the back written by the author's mother. There, she talks about the difficulties of raising up a disabled daughter, but rejoices through it; God gave her sufficient grace, and used her daughter's disability to put his glory on display.
