Just for you - by Jill Saward, February 26, 2010
This review is from: Just for You (Audio CD)
If ever there was a masterpiece which was never recognised as such, then this is it.This album should have been the greatest selling of all time in the whole world over.I am told by Jason Rebello who contributed to the album that it was not the greatest seller and I cannot think why not? What do people want?
I have always admired Jill Saward as the most wonderful singer, which is in evidence at its greatest here, but I had no idea of her creativity until I heard this album. She is on a par with Lennon and Mcartney and the greatest writers of our time, but I know that she would want me to make clear that on this occasion her creativity was shared with George Anderson of Shakatak, and Shakatak themselves played their part in the making of this album.
There is so much loving and caring in this album that, where love matters so much to you, you will be in tears as you listen to each track. You may even remember past events in your life, as I did, particularly with the track "love is over when the trust is gone" about betrayal and one person trying to make up to an old friend for the wrong she did her in stealing her only love and saying she was young and she did not know what she was doing and her friend says that she knew perfectly well what she was doing and she wanted to believe her sorrow now, but she still felt the pain. This happened to me both ways and it brought back all the pain.
The title track "just for you" is for anyone who yearns to give love and who needs to receive it and that it is sufficient that you love someone so much that they just have to call your name and you will be there for them, whatever the time of day or night, and you just know somehow that by giving love you will be receiving love.
You must acquire this album whatever the cost but you can get it cheaper on jill saward's own website [...]. Once you have it treasure it and never let it out of your home and let it pass down the generations.
Where was I for ten years that I never knew of this wonderful album that brings beauty love and caring in every track?I do not know but I do know that this album will never leave me now I have it
