this story was sweet and sensual. I loved the whole throw caution to the wind attitude that Ava takes on. It is great how they help each other work through the emotional barriers until the break each one down to nothing. I am a sucker for a good ending and this one had a great 'throw it in your face you funky no good cheating bastard' kind of ending when our hero shows up and shows that bastard how much he lost by hurting Ava and shows everyone just how much he's gained in hunting Ava down. I would suggest this read I enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed this story. Ava was a great heroine and Derek was a wonderful hero. The Great Dane was the best! The story was short, sweet and I'm happy I purchased it. Will be purchasing Ms. Carmer's other story nextThe Lasting

This short story was so sweet and really sexy. Loved Ava and her giant dog, loved Derek who was willing to fight for his woman and I loved that the cheating fiance got squashed like a bug! Good read, great price.

This book kept me on my toes,I could not stop reading it. It was nice to step out of the real world and still be able to enjoy steamy hot Romance. I will recommend this book to others.I look forward to her future books.

I was swept away with you on this journey to Mexico and beyond. Ava and Derek are great. My heart bled for Derek and I was so happy when he found Ava. They were made for each other. The way Ms. Carmer writes, you can tell she loves these characters as much as we do. Tiny Girl steals the show again!!! The book is laugh out loud funny, witty, and a whole lot of fun. I laughed, I cried, I felt it all. I truly enjoyed the ride and cannot wait for more.

This story was short but really good. I loved the characters and fell in love with the dog. And you can't beat the price.

I am not usually one who reads romance novels although I am a avid reader. As one of my first forays into the genre, I had pretty low expectations but I was more than surprised by the quality of the plot, the characters, the pace and the depth. I was mesmerized from the moment I started and read it through in one setting. I feel Carmer did a great job helping us see Ava's emotions and motivations. It left me wanting more....

Lot of hot action, too much description sometimes. Decent characters, really wanted to see what the would do next. Love the sex scense though!!!
