5.0 out of 5 stars Listen & Just Be Free
People you may think this song sounds like the Richard simmons work out video but these are all remixes of the songs not the original version. This single was recorded before Christina Aguilera even got a record deal and I'm sure this song is the Demo she gave to RCA. This song is not her first Dance song because they are all remixes of the original version. Think...

3.0 out of 5 stars THE TRUTH ABOUT "JUST BE FREE"
Yes, this song was recorded when Christina was only 15 years old, and her vocal range wasn't totally developed yet. However, if you're a Christina fan (like me), you'll definitely be interested in this song.

This song is not her first Dance song because they are all remixes of the original version. Think about it who is going to want to dance to a song called "Just be free"! Weather you like the song are not its worth the money since this single was released with out Christina Aguilera's permission by a generic label. This song is one that you would just have to add to your Christina collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars You will like this! JUST B FREE! MOVIN 2 DA RYTHMN!, November 23, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Just be free [Single-CD] (Audio CD)
If you are the ultimate fan of CHRISTINA and are wondering whether or not to buy this CD because it's unofficial I say BUY IT!

If you like COME ON OVER BABY then your bound to LOVE this!

I must admit it is slightly repetitive and the words don't make any sense but it's a GREAT ADDITION 2 any christina collection!

THE LYRICS ARE:Don't u c u just can't find ,well b dancin 2 the morning light ,just keep going ,don't let it slip away, well b dancin 2 the break of the day ,JUST B FREE now stop moving away, on your feet, moving 2 the rythmn!

thats all the lyrics youll need coz i does repeat itself loads. But don't b put off by that coz you will love this cd!

It includes 3remixes that are slightly different in sound and length! And 1 LATINO mix!Which is very good!

This is a good cd but .It should b cheaper!Buy it anyway coz Christina 's voice is the best!Youll wanna DANCE all night. JUST BE FREE!(im 16 not 12,ok)

5.0 out of 5 stars Christina's Best Track Yet, June 17, 2000

Here it is, finally: the unreleased track "Just Be Free"! It's not even on her album! It was recorded even before she signed with RCA Records. It has a very cool feel to it! If you are a big Christina fan, this is a must buy!

Yes, this song was recorded when Christina was only 15 years old, and her vocal range wasn't totally developed yet. However, if you're a Christina fan (like me), you'll definitely be interested in this song.

The first 2 songs on this single are REMIXES. The remixed songs are better-sounding than the original radio version. Since this song was never meant to be included on an album, only a radio version exists. Track 4 is the original version of this song.

Track 3 is the Spanish version, and while it does have a latin rhythm and flavor to it, Christina could have brushed up on her Spanish just a little bit before singing this song.

All in all, I think the song is worth the money. Some of the reviews may be hard to understand (e.g. "That IS Christina" then "That is not even Christina!"), but listen to the song and use your best judgment. You won't be disappointed with its catchy beat.

Get up and dance to this one. Christina's super-powerful voice will have you trying wild moves and maybe a new language. This song incoporates Spanish and a little English. If you liked "Mi Reflejo" this is right up your alley. It is NOT a fake! That is undoubtedly Christina belting out those powerful, beautiful lyrics. If you haven't heard this song, you just HAVE to buy this album because it was the powerful predecessor to "Mi Relfejo" and a nice segway between the debut album and the all Spanish album. Christina, I hope you're reading this because I love you and all your music, I always will!

"Just Be Free" is a good dance song with a catchy rythym! I especially like the Latin version of this song! I'm very familiar with all of Christina's music, and although this song is definitely not her best, it's still a great CD for all fans!

THIS ISN'T THE BEST SONG IN THE WORLD. TO ME IT SOUNDS LIKE A SONG FROM A RICHARD SIMMONS WORK OUT VIDEO. AND THE BEAT TO IT ISN'T THAT GOOD. THE THING THAT MAKES IT WORTH BUYING IS CHRISTINA'S VOICE. SHE SOUNDS AWESOME ON THIS SONG.

4.0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY THIS!!!, August 2, 2000

This review is from: Just be free [Single-CD] (Audio CD)
I found this song while searching on Napster(before it shut down!) and went to Christina's website to try to find out where it came from. It was never released!!!!! Her website urges you not to buy this album!! I don't think she is getting any money for it. As far as I'm concerned, just download it and burn it to a CD if you really want it, but don't pay these people who sell Christina's amazing voice without her permission!!!!!!!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Christina's worst ever, July 15, 2000
This review is from: Just be free [Single-CD] (Audio CD)
First of all, I gotta say, that Im from germany and that we're gonna have this CD out soon and it is on the radio all the time. I really like Christina, I love her voice especially on songs like "Too beautiful for words" or "I turn to you" so I was really disappointed to hear her singing a dumb dancesong like this, which is neither catchy nor interesting considering the chords, the melodie or the arrangement, so better wait for the new "Latin Lover girl" insted of buying this cd!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great dance song!, June 22, 2000

This is the first "dance song" that Christina has, and it is a great one! Every time I hear it, I get up and dance. The remixes are great too, with a spanish mix and a club mix. A must-have for any Christina fan!
