5.0 out of 5 stars Classic tales of teamwork, friendship, and justice
I held off buying the DC Archive editions for years because of the hefty price. Then I bought a couple used and I saw that they are worth every penny. At least they are worth it if you grew up with these titles. It was amazing how many of these stories (and specific panels) that I personally remembered after nearly 50 years.

3.0 out of 5 stars Graphic SF Reader
Justice League of America Archives, Vol. 3 Archive Edition is another fine bunch of adventures from DC's premier super team. These are nice, if rather pricey and heavy, making the price even worse here, so hopefully the Showcases will get all this stuff eventually.

Anyway, more Gardner Fox and company JLA goodness.

This review is from: Justice League of America Archives, Vol. 3 (DC Archive Editions) (Hardcover)
I held off buying the DC Archive editions for years because of the hefty price. Then I bought a couple used and I saw that they are worth every penny. At least they are worth it if you grew up with these titles. It was amazing how many of these stories (and specific panels) that I personally remembered after nearly 50 years.

Volume three contains stories originally published in Justice League of America #15-22. The highlight of this third volume is the revival of the Justice Society of America on Earth Two from the Golden Age.

These stories look better on the high-grade, glossy paper than they did when first printed- and much, much better than they look on old, yellow newsprint. The maroon leatherette covers (with the Justice League of America logo embossed in silver) are first rate- though I would never take the heavy, glossy jackets off of them.

Treat yourself to the age of true heroes.

The DC Archive editions are hands down the best way to own those hard to find Golden Age titles. The pages are jam-packed with all of your favorite characters in their ORIGINAL format!!! It would cost you thousands of dollars to find these comics elsewhere and you would want to keep them in pristine condition if you did get them. Here you can get your favorite books and hand them down to your kids and share for the next generation.

Happy reading!!!
