Wonderful!,

This review is from: The Justice (Paperback)
As a lawyer and government/history buff, I found this book intriguing. As a writer and a Christian, I was delighted by how well written it is. Not all Christian fiction is of this high quality. I especially applaud Ms. Hunt's great job of handling the lead characters' sin realistically/honestly without dragging us through the mud. An entertaining, uplifting, and thought-provoking read.

Fairness, Justice, & Mercy,
By debbie setters (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Justice (Paperback)
Characters I loved, hated, and envied. Ambitious Daryn Austin stops at nothing to achieve the highest position of power. Paul Santana's world of contentment is rocked when Daryn calls him to Washington. His choices lead him to a face-to-face discovery of fairness and justice, both of which he is deserving of. His heart leads him to a throne of mercy, which we are none deserving of. Angela Hunt has produced another winner!

Contemporary political fiction,

Imagine a woman serving as President of the United States. Angela Hunt has researched her topic well--the political scene in Washington--a refreshing change from Christian fiction that usually takes place in the "wild west" days. Readers will enjoy a great story of mystery, scandal, God's grace and forgiveness and also a "behind the scenes" look at political life in Washington.

I found Angela Hunt this summer and I must say I have enjoyed everything I have read. But The Justice was so captivating. When I first saw that it was about politics I wondered if it was for me. But it was so well written and put together and not only maintained my interest but I could hardly put it down. As readers we need to remember that it is fiction and not supposed to always be believable although I did not find it to "unbelievable" It almost read like a Shakespeare tale for the twenty-first century. With just the right amount of history, intrigue, romance and above all else, God's amazing love, grace, and forgiveness toward us. I loved it. I have become a huge Angela Hunt fan.

Angela Hunt never disappoints. This thoughtful writer has done it again. This tale places you inside the oval office as the first female Vice President becomes the first female President on the death of the President. But there's trouble on the horizon as Daryn Austin's past quickly catches up with her. Readers of political intrigue won't want to miss this tale. Delightful and provocative. A must read.

Angela does Justice to The Justice,
This review is from: The Justice (Kindle Edition)
Once again, Angela Hunt shows her creative skills, intelligence and imagination with The Justice. Watch for interesting turning points, character depth and ideas that will have you mulling over this book long after you've read the final pages. This one deserves a second read, so keep it around.

Disappointing,

I enjoyed the characters in this story - but finished the book feeling frustrated. I felt the ending to be harsh and not very realistic. There was tremendous build up, only to have the author quickly move past the meaningful parts to the story. There was no closure for me and was frustrated that justice was not part of the story.

Not a good book,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Justice (Paperback)
I have read many of her books and loved them and i definatly did not enjoy this one. I really wanted to stop reading it but kept going since Hunt is such a great author. I recommend for everyone to read her other books and not this one, which could have been very good considering the thought of a female President.
