Beware, this is a very annoying toy! It makes a lot of noise with no volume control! Let me also say that usually loud toys do not bother me, but this one does! If it had a mute or volume button, it would be an awesome toy.

Both of my 4 year old boys love this action figure. Superman's cape blows like he is flying (and makes a loud wind sound), his arms move up and down (and makes a loud smashing sound) and his eyes light up for x-ray vision (and makes a loud ray sound).

Unfortunately, he seems very durable! He flys solo down the stairs and off the furniture and hasn't broken yet. Both boys want to play with him and they fight over who's turn it is; but I find it so annoying that I refuse to buy a second one.

Grandma wonders why Superman hasn't lost his batteries or just completely disappeared, but they really love him. My solution is to make them play with it outside or in the basement so I don't have to hear it.

My son a is big superman fan! He was so excited when he got this for his 6th birthday. It can be a bit noisy, but that fact that he enjoys it so much makes the noise worth it. I would recommend this toy for any little boy who likes pretending to be a superhero.

This is just a really cool toy! My son loves it. The only thing to nit pick about is that it would be nice if it was a bit smaller (and the elbows had articulation so you could bend them). My son thinks it's the coolest thing the way his cape waves when you put him in the flying position. Well worth the cost!

I bought the Sonic Zoom Superman for my little brother's 5th birthday. He LOVES it! He was amazed by the "flying" cape. The only downfall is Superman does not have a volume control. He is a little loud, but my brother doesn't mind the noise:)

My son, who is eight, loves this toy and so does most adult that see it. The eyes light up red like lazer vision. The cape lifts up and makes sounds when you are lifting it vertically. Then when you place it horizontally it makes a flying sound like it is really going through the air. This one is really great. I would recommend it for any superman fan.

I grabbed this one on sale, right before Superman Returns figures came out and I'm glad I got one! This guy's cape blows in the wind when he flies and makes a super sonic sound. Plus, gotta love those x-ray eyes! Super fun and tons of entertainment for little guys. Highly recommend!

I just picked one up at ross and they were on clearance and were selling for $9.99.This toy is great and I know I have read reviews that this toy is very loud and he certainly is and adults get annoyed a lot by it but kids love this toy and it is great and I was wrong about this toy and it is an outstanding toy and this toy is a MUST-HAVE for a superman fan and you got to get this toy and it is soo cool that it has heat vision sounds and flight sounds and crushing sounds and this one is so much better than the 10 inch superman and it could be a loud toy but it is certainly fun for me and just skip the reagular supermans and pick up this ultra cool toy and this one FINALLY has knee joints and he is a big figure and this is the LOUDEST toy I heard but it is certainly good and the noise doesn't bother me and this is just the must -have for a superman fan and it is on clearance and this one was just the coolest thing on earth to play with and this toy is highly recommended.

Husband was upset they didn't have this one when he was a little boy. My son loves it. It is a bit loud and offers no volume control but it's worth it. Very durable, fun, and exciting! Recommended.

My son got this for Christmas, and it is the loudest toy that I have ever heard! I am positive that this could cause hearing damage with long-term use, it hurts my ears! We ended up duct taping a belt around super man's midsection where the noise is from. It's a little better now. The flying action is awesome, but just can't make up for the fact that it has no volume control.

My 3 y/o son got this Superman for Christmas in 2006. 4 months of hard play later, he's still intact and going strong. The toy is a little loud, but then, so is my son. :-) I was a little worried about the cape getting broken, because it looked fragile at first, but the plastic "arms" that make it move are very flexible and can get crushed, smooshed and stepped on and just bounce back.
This is a great toy.
