Justice League 10" Superman Large Figure

I bought Superman, along with Batman and Aquaman, for my 6 year-old son's birthday - he loves them!! Along with his 2 younger brothers, the 3 of them can imitate the action-packed adventures they watch on the TV show Justice League Unlimited. I love the durability and the fact that there are no small, little, removable parts to lose and scatter throughout the house. We'll be purchasing The Flash and a couple of the others for Christmas.

I have Green Lantern, Flash and Supe. Supe is particularly nice with the cape.

All 3 are excellent replicas of the marquettes from the JLA cartoon series. I will likely get Batman to complete the set since I have been so pleased with the 3 already.
Great substitute if you don't want to spend an insane amount of money on the marquettes.

The great thing about this toy is that it looks awesome in packaging and is therefore great for displaying. It is an exact replica of the Superman from the JLA animated series. Another high point is that it is relatively inexpensive in comparison to the seriously overpriced Maquettes.

But the bad thing about it is that, for an action figure it has severly limited articulation. The arms and the neck move and that's basically it. But even more than that is that, it's near impossible to display this out of the box due to its seriously disproportionate upper body and lower body.

But if you are buying for a kid like my six-year old cousin who is a big fan of the JLA you won't care about any of those articulation or display complaints. They'll just be ecstatic having the toy in their hands. I also bought one but I am happy displaying it in the box. In my opinion, it's a pretty decent toy for kids and collectors.

I am surprised how durable the toy is. The cape and cowl seem to be made to last longer than those toys that came before. Also, lots of fun, my 3yo son plays with his three Justice League figures all of the time.

I bought this Superman, as well as the Batman from the same series, for my three-year-old. They are really great looking toys, but for play, they aren't that hot. As others have said, the toys are poorly proportioned, and don't stand well on their own. Also, they are barely articulated - no elbows, no knees, etc.

My three-year-old thinks they are great at present, just because of the way they look, and they certainly are well enough built to hold up to him playing with them for over six months now. But I don't think they're going to be very exciting, as he gets older and other options are out there.

Great, kids will love this. It will be excellent for Xmas.

BUT WHERE ARE WONDER WOMAN AND HAWKGIRL?
Sheesh.

We have five of these large Justice League action figures and they are GREAT. Our 2 boys (5 and 3yrs.) play with them every day, and they play hard. The toys are durable and attractive. I like that the arms and legs have only one point of articulation. It makes it easy for my kids to make them stand. Some of the smaller action figures frustrate them because they tip over too easily. Wonder Woman's legs sometimes get out of whack but they are easily fixed. We really love these and we are hoping to find Aquaman and Green Lantern in our stores soon.

I must say i love this toy. I am a collector and because of that i wont open it to play with it. i think its just perfecto for display it in his box. Its big, excellent replica from the tv show and very cheap compare to his price. I already have the whole set (aquaman, martian, batman, superman, green lantern, wonder woman an flash). Hawkgirl is coming out late october 2004. As an action figure its not that good to play with it due to his lack of articulation, but as i said before, for dispaying its just perfetc. It comes in a window box package. Get'em all while u can!

I got this as a christmas gift a few years ago and I loved it and this toy is highly recommended.

I have a superman and a batman from the justice leauge series 10 inch toy line.The superman one is nice and just like from superman the animated series.It has many movements than my batman one I got for christmas.I can make a pose like he is flying by holding him.His hands are moveable you can make him do poses like he is smashing a car or he is breaking something in two.Well I don't have much to say but this toy is cool and fun too.I like to keep it because it is fun and nice.Go read another review of 10 inch batman he is nice and fun too.
