This is a rather decent fighting game starring DC's premier superhero team. The roster of characters is a bit limited (What! No Green Lantern?) However all the mainstays of the JL are here-Yes,even Aquaman. But the computer A.I. is pretty cheap. It's fursturating to be trying to land one hit, and geting pummeled by the Flash quicker than, well...The Flash. Also, the special moves are rather tough to pull off, and when you do a special you usually have no ideal how you did it. If the game were more balanced, and had more characters to choose from, it would be more interesting. As it stands, it's good, but could have been so much more.

I used to have this game years ago. It was my favorite out of all the genesis games I ever had. I had mastered every character and their moves. It is fun to try out every character and master them. I spent hours playing this, fighting all different matches. If you like switching things up and like to spend hours on one game, then this is deffinetly the game for you. You will love it, at least I did.

I wasted countless amounts of cash renting this game almost every week from my local video store. This game is awesome The story mode it to die for and the characters, well they are pretty unforgetable!! I currently bought this game for snes because the genesis version rocked and i had trouble finding it. Well compared to the Genisis, the snes version sucked. ALOT. Aquaman for one has his hook hand and a complete moves overhall, the flashes moves are much cooler & the game moves at a much faster pace which just goes to show you that Genesis has the upper hand. the story mode is also more involved on genisis and the backgrounds have a higher level of detail. While i really wished more villans were included this game has a good selection of great fighters.

I was never much for fighting games when I was a kid. Could never hit the combos and special moves fast enough. I did like Mortal Kombat and Street fighter but had no memory of Justice League Task Force when I was younger. Even though I never played it before I picked it up recently at a flea market. I figure just about all fighting games are the same when done right. So if I was going to get a fighting game it might as well have all the DC characters. Fighting Batman against Superman in any context is always a good thing.
Game play is setup tournament fight style. Best out of three and knock your opponent down. Play as either Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, The Flash, or Aquaman. You will have to fight the other members of the Justice League which is later found out to be their android clones. There's also three villains Cheetah, Despero, and the boss Darkseid. The graphics look great and they did a good job on all the super heroes. Play the computer, story mode, or against a friend. There's basically three special moves per character. Each have their own custom attacks and weapons. There's not too much to the story mode. It's just a cutaway to your character and scrolling text. The full game could be played in beaten in under 20 minutes. You get to fight each super hero in their own levels. Batman in Gotham City, Superman on top the Daily Planet etc. Three difficulty levels allow you to pick your own setting. Overall it's a fun game for the Sega Genesis. Once you get the special moves down it becomes very enjoyable and easier to play. It's quick and light on story but it's as good as any other fighting game I remember from back then. Get it if your a fan of the Justice League, or if your just looking for a fighting game to add to the collection.
