How does one cope with grief after the tragic loss of a loved one? In Melissa's case, REVENGE. Blackstock does a great job of showing that Christians are human and have to deal with the problems of life like anyone else. The difference is how a Christian, like Detective Larry Millsaps, deals with those problems. Not only is the story great, but also having a great Christian law enforcement officer as the protagonist was wonderful--not a lot of writers could carry that off the way that Blackstock can. The only thing lacking in this story is that it has not yet been made a movie of the week!

Of the four books in this series, this book had the most impact on me. Sad to say that my Christian walk was not up to what it should be, but after reading this book, and watching Larry and Melissa struggle and wrestle with the Lord, I became convicted. I feel this book was brought to my attention to make me realize that Christ needs to be the center of my life again, and his grace is truely amazing. Thank you Terri for writing such a great eye opening book!

I could not put this book down. Very fast paced, suspenceful, and plenty of great Christian lessons that we can all learn. Liked the romance in the book and love having characters in this story from the previous book. It is fun to see the characters again, see how they are doing. I feel like I know the characters that Terri just brings to life.

It's definitely a Christian themed book so if that is not to your liking, you will not like this book. I LOVE Terri Blackstock and will likely read every book she has written. She certainly delivers in this book. My only complaint is that this one didnt just grab me from the first page but I stuck with it and really, really found myself engrossed in the story line and the book. So, for me, it's well worth the investment. I am now reading my books on a e-reader and I love that her books are available in that format too.

I do recommend reading the first in the Suncoast Chronicles series before this one, but it's not all that important. It's just that you'll get a bit more out of this knowing the background of Lynda and Jake who have a part in this book.The thing I admire the very most in Terri Blackstock's books is the way she centers on one particular theme pertaining to the Christian lifestyle. In this novel, she tackles the question on whether the end justifies the means or not, and she does it in a way that is both entertaining and suspenseful. This is of course absolutely Christian literature, but should also interest those who aren't fanatically anti-Christian.

I've loved everything that Terri writes. She is a wonerful writer. She knows how to keep the suspense coming.

I haven't had a Blackstone book that I didn't really enjoy. Good mystery, characters and book I've passed along to friends and relatives. Good story with Christian values sprinkled in appropriately without preaching or straying from a good escape story.

After reading the first in this series, I knew I needed to read all four. In fact when Terri Blackstock writes series books I have to purchase all the books in that series because I do not want to miss a thing. There is information in each book that leads to the final book or conclusion and would not want to miss out on any of it. I tried her books on a recommendation from my podiatrist and have not been sorry. She has been added to my Christian fiction authors list.

I loved this whole series. They are easy to read and if you read the first book you will love hearing the continuation of the characters lives. This book can be stand alone, but I think it is easier to keep track of the characters if you have read the first one.

Another great story from Terri Blackstock. I tend to stick to Christian authors because I enjoy the content. This book was no different. Terri can shape the characters into anything she desires. This book is full of romance, suspense and intrigue. A who-done-it that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I have now read all the books in this series. I am waiting patiently for another one of her fantastic stories. Thanks Terri.
