Product Description

The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justin´s patented J-Flex® Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the ¨Standard Of The West Since 1879¨.

I normally wear a size 12 regular width shoe. I have no feet anomalies that I know of and have for almost all my shoe purchases been able to comfortably wear normal things. Unfortunately, these just didn't work for me. Every time I took a step, the boot would fall off my heel and then clunk back when I stepped down. It was almost like wearing flip flops. That is also a very accurate descriptor of what the boots were doing, flip flopping.

The quality and craftsmanship was impeccable however. I could tell that if this boot fit me comfortably, it would last forever. Also the color and texture of the leather was top notch. Sadly, however, I just couldn't wear these for work, it just wasn't going to happen. I didn't want to double up on thick hiking socks to make this happen as I work in the desert.

FAst SHipping as always. Best boots I ever bought. Been working as a road and bridge inspector for 20 years and always on my feet and in my work boots. Got sick of tying laces every day so I found these pull up boots on line after shopping in stores and on line sites, and these are the best boots you'll find for this price. I dare you to try to find better because you wont. Right out of the box....soft as butter (no breaking in time), Easy on and off (wide top). Fit good but I got them a half size big because I like to wear boot socks but sizes are true. First day work....water, concrete, and dirt handled beautifully. Feet stayed perfectly dry and comfortable. WHY DID I WAIT THIS LONG???
    BEST BOOTS EVER!!!!

These boots were great looking and appeared to be well-made. I was disappointed, though, when they arrived and the left boot was a bit larger than the right. The right boot fit great and felt wonderful. The left boot was sloppy and a bit to big. It was almost as though it was a size bigger and mismarked. I would have exchanged for another pair, but amazon prime was out of them and I don't want to risk having to pay return shipping for a pair that has the same issue.

I now have two pairs of boots. An older pair of cowboy boots and these new gaucho's. Boot fitting, particularly cowboy boots is not the same as buying a pair of shoes. The ball of your foot needs to rest where the boot flexes, the instep should be snug but not too tight or too loose, and the heel slips a little, right? If you wear boots you know this. You also know they take a little bit to break in. Once they get to that point, they become a good old pair of boots and you can wear them for the rest of your life.

I have a little wider foot and a very high arch. Footwear is something I would typically never even consider buying off the internet. I need to try them on and walk around in them.

With a Prime account and free returns I had nothing to lose, so I bought these dogs from Amazon with no fear of fit issues. Since they are gaucho's (not a cowboy heel and foot bed) I ordered my typical shoe size. Damn things fit perfect. I have been wearing them every day since I bought them because it won't stop snowing in Michigan and the streets are still holding every inch of snow that has fallen since December 1. These boots have kept me dry, relatively warm and have good traction on the ice. They aren't made to survive the Polar Vortex, but they are good enough for getting around town in the dead of winter without looking like an Eskimo.

These boots are very well made and made in the USA, what a bonus! I wear a size 13EE and had to down size to a 13D. My feet are shaped like a ducks foot wide at the toes and a narrow heel and to stop the excessive heel slip I came down a width. I might have even gone down a 1/2 size if this was an option but no 12 1/2 are made and I know my toes would be smashed in a 12. Playing around with different types of socks I have come up with an acceptable fit. Since I will be wearing these boots as my "evening wear" the fit is fine. For me I don't think the fit would be acceptable for a work boot. I would recommend trying them on at a boot shop if possible.

This is my 3rd pair of these boots and I just love them. I tried a different more expensive brand 2 years ago and had to return them because they only lasted two weeks (made in China.) Bought these again and know they will last me 1 1/2 to 2 years. They fit great, wear like iron and I'm keeping someone employed one more day in America. You won't be disappointed in this purchase.
