Some nut butters are too oily, some too dry. Some are too grainy, some too pasty. Some--worst of all--have ingredients that shouldn't even be considered food. I purchased this almond butter from Amazon after a single jar of Maranatha rang up at $28 at my local grocery store. Having read reviews on all sorts of nut butters here, I worried that this would show up with something crazy like wheat germ or cane juice. Happily, it contains only almonds and palm fruit oil. The almonds are ground fine but with some texture remaining. The palm fruit oil seems to contribute to the consistency that's moist without being runny. The flavor is ideal as well--faintly sweet in the way that whole, fresh, raw almonds are. In short, I'm surprised and delighted with this product.

This is the best tasting almond butter I've tried- enough for me to order in bulk!

I ordered through amazon.com & the shipment I received had about year before they "expired."

Justin's has made dramatic changes to this product which while resolving the oil separation problem and giving it a smooth texture has removed the distinctive almond flavor. I haven't been able to figure out what it's supposed to taste like now (peanut butter?) but it no longer tastes like almond butter. They certainly ruined a good product. My family ate a LOT of this stuff but we won't be buying it again.

Justin's Classic Almond Butter is by far the best I've ever eaten. It is seasoned just right and I haven't had to stir it before or during the time it's sat on my pantry shelf...although that may be because it never sits there long! My entire gluten-, dairy-, egg-, soy- and corn- sensitive family loves it on rice bread sandwiches with agave or preserves...or straight from the jar on a spoon! Justin's Maple Almond Butter makes a delicious frosting for Elana's Pumpkin Pie Muffins [...]

About it tasting like it has sand in it...that is what I liked about it...the texture! Absolutely delicious! It wasnt like sand but like tiny almond chunks. (hmm...interesting) I have already told my friends about it! YUM!

Arguably 1 of the best butters on the market for Peanut and Almond spreads.
Bought this at better price than normal and that price was really worth it however because the price of raw almonds this
nut butter is usually sold at higher price, maybe price fixing? haha!
Big fan of Justin's sampler packets you can find in most grocery stores so I easily purchased this 3pk
at the special price. This all-natural almond butter is really distinguishable from peanut butter if you have not tried
any other butters and it seems to have a "smooth-gourmet type texture and taste".
Getting a food processor and raw almonds on-sale will probably do you more good price-wise
if you consider indulging in regular "Almond Butter sandwiches!" but maybe too expensive if you want to make "Almond Butter sculptures"!

I keep this in my fridge. When I first tried almond butter I purchased another brand and can't remember the name. I put it in the refrigerator and every time I opened the container the oil had separated and risen to the top, and it was hard to mix the oil back into it. I don't have carpal tunnel or arthritis and work out regularly, so the fact that it was very hard to mix the oil back in was aggravating and I threw that container away.

I was at the grocery store and saw this brand and decided to give it a try. I read ingredient labels as less ingredients typically mean less processing, and I try to eat more unprocessed and lightly processed foods than processed foods. The label for Justin's states the ingredients are "Dry Roasted Almonds, Organic Palm Fruit Oil."

I have been using the 16 oz container for over a month now and the oil hasn't separated ONCE.

Almond butter is amazing! Such a healthy snack, and the kids I babysit for will actually eat this stuff which is a miracle since they are so picky! Great way to change up the classic pb&j or to eat with apple slices.
