At long last the wait is over to play this incredible music in CD format. The wait has been painful but music lovers everywhere won on February 16, 2010. Bill Withers made many great recordings but +'Justments is the "Masterpiece" long overdue. I hope it spurs the release of his entire catalog on CD in the near future. Thanks to whomever is responsible for restoring a gem. May it never go out of print.

I would like to state first that it is a travesty that more than half Bill Withers' catalogue is still out of print. Bill Withers was a contemporary of Al Green and is just as good in my opinion; and yet all of Al Green's albums are still in print, or at least easy to obtain, but Bill Withers' albums are not. I hope this changes.
I am ecstatic that this album has been released and it is indeed a masterpiece and I feel it is easily as good as his first two albums. "You," "The Same Love That Made Me Laugh," "Green Grass," "Ruby Lee," "Heartbreak Road" are all utterly amazing and could easily have been played on the radio. The liner notes give an excellent background on the tracks featuring information provided By Bill for this release. I really hope this release sparks an interest in Bill Withers albums because there are some other ones that I wish they would release.

One of Mr. Wither's classics that should've been released a long time ago along with his first two titles. Glad some label had the presence of mind to release this one on disc. Way to go! Looking forward to enjoying this piece real soon.

I had this album back in the '70s and lost it. I've looking for another copy for the longest, i wished that it had been on a cd, but i can change that. this is a great album, some of bill withers best work in my opinion.
its full of life's experiences and observations. i'm glad i was able to locate another copy. for anyone who loves bill withers and is collecting his music, this is a "got to have" piece of work, take my word for it....

This CD was hard to find in the record stores. Thank you Amazon for making it available online. It arrived in time for Christmas. The songs are beautiful and soulful, Bill Withers is superb as always.

I am in the process of reconnecting with all the artists I love. Bill Withers is one of them. My LPs are in such poor condition, the logical step was to replace them with CDs. I am glad I did. This is an amazing CD and sounds as good as I remember it. Now I listen to him at home and in my car with pleasure.

This is my favorite music from Bill Wither. And it takes a lot to by a favorite. His first album was my favorite. Then I heard Still Bill and it was close. The 'Live' album held special meaning for me, because of 'I Can't Write Left Handed' 'Use Me' and of course 'The World Keeps Going Round'. Then I heard 'Railroad Man' and I was on cloud 9 and 'You' came along and snatched me into understanding how a real artist creates. Bill Withers you are one of america's finest poets.

Although much of the concerns on this album appear dated the music holds up rather well and was a better investment that most excursions into factory-produced modern soul especially the string arrangements.

Of course the album had been released on CD before by the great Raven records in Australia, but when I decided to finally pop online and buy it, I found out that this re-release was available too. And since I was hoping that this pressing used the original Sussex masters, I bought this one. The CD arrived and lo and behold: they used the original Sussex album masters! 'Justments is one of those rereleases that is long, long overdue, 'cause why would it have taken over 30 years to simply put it out on CD? Anyway, the CD sounds fabulous and I can recommend it to everyone. Too bad it's the original album only, 'cause I think we would all have enjoyed a few unreleased tracks, outtakes or demo versions. Still you can't afford to miss this one!

Lost when it was first released, this is equal in quality to the other Sussex releases from Bill Withers.
Only available on vinyl, the good news is that as of today (9/27/09) Raven Records of Australia have this album listed as an upcoming CD release. Great news!!!
