He's fallen off!!!!!!,

Juvenile used to have the kind of music that made you wanna get up and dance or act crazy. You know the tight beats that Mannie Fresh put down mixed with that one of a kind voice. But this album is a lot different. Mannie Fresh only produced a couple of songs on this album and Juvenile seems like he is trying to be some kind of Jamaican rapper. I dont understand why he changed his style. Some of the good or decent songs on here are In My Life, Slow Motion feat Soulja Slim (RIP), Bounce Back, and a few others. I jsut seems like when juvenile does put down a tight flow the chorus sucks or when the beat is tight his flow doesn't match up. It all just seems mixed up and out of place, I gave it 3 stars because of the few good songs and because Juveniles lyrics are still at his top level.

Surprisingly good...,

I borrowed this CD from the library because I had nothing else at home. I really hate that whole "Cash Money - No Limit" jewels & car mentality, and you can usually find me listening to J5, Aceyalone or Ugly Duckling instead of this kind of stuff. But this CD is entertaining and kept me interested throughout, with some solid production (yes Mannie Fresh's beats all have the same structure and sound, but it's cool) and catchy if not forgettable lyrics.

Many people felt that Juvenile faded from the seen after a disappointing release with Project English. But Juvenile returns to Cash Money with this great comeback release. He talks about all the things that have happened in his live over the last 5 years. The tracks are deep at points. He goes back to his roots, spitting rhymes about how he grew up and got in the game. But it wouldn't be Juve without the rear end shaking anthems, like In My Life and Slow Motion, which is the best track on the album. He also shows props to his man Soulja Slim who was killed with the music video for Slow Motion. It was the reason I got out to get this album. Juve is still kicking and spitting with his slurve. This album is great from beginning to end. Juve The Great.

Juve is back,

Back in 98, when 400 degreez came out, the typical fast paced "cash money beat" was new in the rap scene, and mannie fresh's production perfectly harmonized with juve's raw and unique lyrics. I consider 400 degreez one of the best rap cd's out there, whilst also the underrated follow-up "tha g-code" and BG's "chopper city in the ghetto" caught my attention.
Still, the typical "Cash Money" style soon started to sound monotonous and played out, and when juve and bg left the label I totally lost my interest in "Cash Money". Now, about 5 years later, Juve is back and I am really pleased with his new offering. While one cannot compare it with 400 degreez, I find the production to be pretty good (although mostly too slow) and Juve's lyrics cool and unique as always. Best songs are "Bounce Back", "F*n' with me", "Lil' Daddy" and "Juve the Great". Support Juvenile (not Cash Money) on this one, since he is one of the greatest!

He's back, but its different,

With Juve, you know you're going to get massive flow and awesome beats from mannie frsh, but this is no 400 degrees. His voice sounds different, but in a better way. Its now really tight and juve's got a massive flow. The main point is that Bounce Back, Slow Motion and In My life, along with my favorite, enemy turf just copmletely rock the album completely. Get it. Its awesome.

Juvenile has a Great Flow,

The reason I gave this album 5 stars is because Juvenile doesn't just talk nonsense over good beats like 50 cent, he really raps, old-school rap. His lyrics are somewhat substantial but I like the fact that he has a cohesive flow, the beats are mostly good. In my opinion, Slow Motion, In My Life, Bounce Back, and about 5 others are the best tracks, the rest are just good.

This album was very good compared to the last. Track 17, Slow Motion, the track called Numb,Numb, and Head in Advance are some of my favorite tracks off the album. If you are a Juve fan, it is a must have album. The skits however does take away from the quality of the album, but I still would give this album 3.5 stars. So it is definitely worth buying.
