One of Juvenile's finest albums,
By Viper (Chicago IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Juvenile: Reality Check (Audio CD)
This is a great album from Juvenile. Everything about it is great. The lyrics are great and the production is top notch too. This will be on it's way to becoming a classic like Juve The Great(his best album) and 400 Degreez. I just wish that he could have gotten Mannie Fresh to produce the whole thing. Still this is a great album and I'll be listening to it all year, it's only March and I have a potential candidate for album of the year and it's certainly a lot better than that Public Enemy trainwreck "Rebirth of a Nation". This is one of the year's best albums.

I Like It,
This review is from: Juvenile: Reality Check (Audio CD)
This album is one of his best ever, the lyrics are great and the beats hit hard. I read a lot of hater reviews on here and they say he raps about the samething but all rappers rap about the same. I am going to say this, if you do not like rap then don't review it or listen to it go listen to Britney Spears or Coldplay quit reviewing rap albums. Anyways buy this album if you like rap because this album is a banger. BUY THIS!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Juvenile: Reality Check (Audio CD)
I been waiting for this juvenile album for a while. Now dat it is out im not dissapointed at all. The beats are nis nice and juve spits about more than just money and cars (unlike Baby a.k.a Birdman) he gets on the topic of FEMA George Bush and Katrina. Dis album is one of the best albums I've heard in a while and probably the hottest album of da year.
Favorite Songs: 1. Rodeo 2. Whats Happening 3. Get Yo Hustle On 4. Break A Brick Down 5. Sets Go Up 6. Keep Talkin

Juvie did alot of growing up on this album by displaying substance to the cd. The cd talked about several different aspects of the hood rather than just hood rich. Not a classic like 400 degreez but worth checking. Peace

First of all whoever writes the rewiews with the snake and the beetle is gay. grow up. second this cd is well worth the money. Juve's lyrics are good . Juve does diss FEMA but he also has a song about him and his wife. The beats are hot and the guest appearences are decent but Juve holds a track down better by himself. This cd is worth a second listen. the best songs are:
1. Get Ya Hustle On 2. Whats Happnin 3. I know you know

Man this CD is probably the hottest CD to come out in 2 yrs for real. I dont give just any CD 5 stars man but this one definately deserves it. Juve puts it down on every track. got some great features this time like Brian McKnight, 8 Ball, Luda, Mike Jones, and Mannie Fresh. Enough said man....go buy it....years from now it's gonna be one of his classics man I gurantee it!!

This is a tight cd. The best by Juve so far. If you're looking for a cd where just about every track sounds good. This is it. I think it's an instant classic. My favorites are Who's ya daddy, pop u and break a brick down. You need to add this to your collection.

Juvenile-Reality Check is a landmark,

The people on this board bashing this cd, are as well bashing the freedom of speech, and these are the same people go out and accuse the government of seizing their rights. So who's really the hypocrite? Bottom line, the rich were evacuated 1st while the poor stood behind without a choice, so this goes out to the ignorant people who fail to believe this and fail to acknowledge that FEMA,the government played a part in prioritizing people! But hey! This is how America operates.
With that being said, The Album is a classic, if your uncertain don't hesitate on picking it up. You won't be disappointed. The ablum starts off upbeat and does not slow until the Trey Songz (I know) and Brian Mcknight track (Addicted) 2. Get your Hustle On- is truth, he's at square 1, so what can you do but Hustle. Bottom Line cop this cd.Support an evacuee who also lost every thing as well. FYI: Mannie Fresh produced many of the tracks, glad to see Juve + Mannie Fresh = Classic INTRO - GET YA HUSTLE ON - 5/5 - Comes strong, bashes FEMA, Fox news, etc. Truth be heard. AROUND THE WAY - 4/5 - Nice beat and flow SETS GO UP - 3.5/5 - Clubbin track "and the sets go!" ok track RODEO - 5/5 - This is why your interested in the album right? WHAT'S HAPPININ'? - 4.8/5 - Crazy flow, Juve came with it on this one LOOSE BOOTY - 2/5 - Eightball was on par, Juve and Skip strayed off course on this one WAY I BE LEANIN - 5/5 - Crazy Beat, lovin the H-town (Houston) support BREAK A BRICK DOWN - 3.7/5 - Nolia Clap beat remixed, good track. WHO'S YA DADDY - 5/5 - The Best, craziest, funniest track on the album I KNOW YOU KNOW - 5/5 - Slow jam, Trey Songz always on top of his game. Lovin this one KEEP TALKIN' - 4/5 - Crazy track, a fave, Crunk type music here ROCK LIKE THAT - 4.5/5 - Bun B adds nicely to this piece, well done another nice track WHY NOT - 4.0/5 - Nice track to listen and chill to. ANIMAL - 3.5/5 - Decent ADDICTED - 4/5 - Haven't heard much from Mcknight, nice mix here HOLLA BACK - 4.0/5 - Party, strip club type song, play this at a party..... or a strip party. POP U - 5/5 - Luda sets this joint off, The chemistry is nice SAY IT TO ME NOW - 4.5/5 - The jumpoff, nice finish.... Get at me Xatloutkastx@aol.com Get your mind correct before its too late.
