I would definitely recomend this product, after looking everywhere for the best bath seat I found this one. It doesnt scratch my 8 month olds legs when i take her out, it doesnt hook to the side of the tub and hold water when through, it is just a simple bath seat, exactly what i was looking for, it works great. Of course it is hard to wash her bottom when she is in it but that is the case with any bath seat for this age. so i just stand her up and wash the bottom. Also suctions to the tub floor nicely and has never tipped.

This seat was just what I needed and my daughter really seems to like it. She can play and splash and I don't worry about her slipping and falling into the water. My only problem with this seat is she leans over the bar and the little toys poke her and rub her chest so it's red when she gets out. But she doesn't seem bothered by it.

My baby girl is just turning 6 months, sitting up on her own, and is a pretty big girl weighing almost 18 lbs, she was getting way to small for her tub but this chair has made it SO much easier, she loves it. I also put a rag on the bottom otherwise she does slide alittle bit. But go to Bed Bath and Beyond and get it for 24 dollars instead of 56! Rip off!

My daughter seems to really enjoy the freedom of this bath seat. I on the other hand found it a little difficult to clean certain areas on my daughter. Also, If you have a textured tub don't expect the suction cups to work.

My son is almost 8 months old and he loves this seat. He can sit up in the bathtub unassited and play with his toys. And, I love it too because it saves my back from bending over the side of the tub to hold him! I will recommend it to my friends.

This same chair is available at Bed Bath & Beyond for $25. (And frequently you can find coupons to BBB too.) Great chair - just don't buy from this retailer. (Most are temporarily out of stock until the middle or end of January - if you must have now baby catalog has it for $35 - google it & you will be shocked by all the low prices!)

For the most part I like this bath seat. The suction cups hold it in place and it makes it much easier to give my squirmy 8 month old daughter a bath. It would be nice if there was some type of fabric or rubber on the bottom of the seat so she doesn't slide around so much, I just put a washcloth down for her to sit on.

Love this thing- holds the baby secure. They can slip, so be careful. Makes hands-free bathtime for mommy. FYI- I bought one from Buy Buy baby for $25 4 years ago, and again for my second child. Not sure why they are selling for over $50 online. Beware.

I don't get the pricing on this. First of all the blue model is $56.00 vs. the pink model which is $48.98. The only difference I can see is the color. Secondly, this isn't worth $56. BuyBuy Baby sells them for $25, which is much more reasonable for the product.

I bought this seat when my little monkey kept crawling out of the infant tub. Then, when it arrived, the package insert said "do not use this product once child can pull up to standing." I'm unclear when you would need to use this product then... If your child is not able to sit up, this product wouldn't be able to hold them up and you would have to use an infant tub. If your child is sitting but not pulling up, then bathing them is probably pretty easy. I have friends who use this if their child is pulling up/walking etc but not overly active and it works for them. If you have a very active child and have a hard time getting them to sit still, this is not a product that will help with that and is actually dangerous to use in that scenario. I have only tried to use this once, but I will keep it for possible future children who may be less like a little monkey :-)
